Alex's POV
Evanna is very helpful. I was so hurt. I didn't want to talk to anyone. But she helped me. I would've been way more angry than I already was with Ron if she wouldn't have helped. She is very good for Fred. She would help him when he was upset. I wondered why she wasn't a Ravenclaw.
(time skip to the next day)
Evanna's POV
I walked into Dumbledore's office. He needed me for some reason. "Oh it's you." I heard a raspy voice say. "Who is it?" "The hat that put you in Gryffindor." It was the sorting hat.
"I have a question for you."
"What is it?"
"Why was I not a Ravenclaw? You said I would've been good in Ravenclaw."
"Because you chose to be a Gryffindor. Was it worth while?"
Of course it was. I grew with Fred. He was my best friend. We would never be as close as we are now. But would that be a good thing? No. What are you thinking, Eve? You love Fred. And George. And Katie. You've made so many friends. But you might have had more in Ravenclaw. But you would never have ones who cared as much as the ones you have now.
"Yes. Yes it was."
A/N: The conversation between Dumbledore and Evanna isn't gonna happen. I just needed to find a way for Evanna to talk to the Sorting Hat.
