You may be asking yourself, if John is murdering people, how did Ringo find out about it and how did he feel? Well, John has no idea. And Ringo probably doesn't know either. He wants to feel betrayed but he can't help but love John nonetheless. And he didn't know what he was thinking running away from his love like that. And, also, Ringo didn't find out. John told him. And he ran, and John never saw him again. And soon enough, he turned himself in to the authorities. He was soon imprisoned. And, in spite of all this uncertainty, one thing was perfectly clear.
Though they may be apart and though they may have gone their own separate paths, they were still the church boys.
And they were totally messed up.
