Chapter 9

Jess's POV

FLASHBACK

I was walking out of lunch when someone grabbed my arm pulling me around the corner.

"What the hell", I shouted but only to have someone's hand put over my mouth. I licked it causing the person to "ew" and I smirked. My eyes focused and I saw it was Harry and..Niall?

"what do you dickheads need?" I said a little too harshly. Niall and Harry chuckled at me and looked at eachother.

"I need your help", Harry said seriously, so seriously it kinda scared me. "whats in it for me?"i replied, making Niall shrug, but Harry kept staring.

"your best friend will be happy." my eyes widened and I thought about it. Should I? Finally I just gave in.

"tell me first, what do you want?" I said with annoyance. Niall smirked and Harry had the biggest smile on his face that is kinda freaked me out.

He told me the whole plan--where, how, why, where I come in. Honestly, it was probably the smartest idea hes come up with. When he was done, he looked at me and said, "so you in?".

"im in", I said and ran back to Kaitlyn so she wouldn't get suspicious.

The bell rang snapping me out of thoughts, and I quickly started packing my stuff away. Its really gonna happen..

Kaitlyn's POV

The day has been going soo slow. Its only 5th period, and lunch Is soon. Thank god. Plus, Harry has been ignoring me. Ive been doing stuff in front of him but he just keeps grinning like an idiot or whispering to Niall. Whats gotten into him? Probably Jennifer or something.

The bell FINALLY rang, and I waited up for Jess and she hurriedly put her stuff in her bag.

"you ok?" I asked giggling a bit, but stopped when I noticed she wasn't laughing. She nodded and started smiling really big causing me to smile. I was gonna say something else but she grabbed my arm and pulled me to the cafeteria.

"wait I didn't even get my lunch!" I screamed while laughing.

"you wont need it." she winked and pulled me to our seats. She sat down and looked around nervously as if she was looking for someone. Her head finally stopped going back and forth and she nodded to someone. I shrugged it off  when all the sudden I heard the person's voice I haven't heard in so long.

Harry.

Harry's POV

The bell rang for lunch and I ran, literally RAN to lunch. I was so anxious to get this over with and wanted to know if she would say yes or not. Jesus, what if she doesn't say yes? Whatever its worth a try.

I entered the cafeteria and quickly looked around for Jess and finally locked eyes with her. She nodded, meaning that Kaitlyn was here and I could start whenever. I nodded back and went over to Niall who was already looking at me. He nodded at me with a big smile and pulled out a chair. Not for me to sit on though. To stand on. I nervously nodded and got on the chair and the butterflies came in my stomach.

"um, can I have everyones attention please?" I gulped and everyones attention was now on me. Sweet baby jesus this is a lot of people. I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"I have an announcement." I continued, searching for the eyes I anxiously wanted to see. With what felt like infinity, our eyes connected and a smile started forming on my lips as I continued.

"I'm Harry Styles as most of you may know. And most of you may know me as a player and cheater. And honestly, I was, im not denying it. That was until this year. There was a certain someone that didn't take my charm and fall at my feet and was gorgouesly beautiful. Actually. I think she hated me." I chuckled, earning some from the crowd. "but she hated me because I happened to do something in front of the school that was supposed to make her get laughed at but she stopped me. That's what got me hooked. So after school I ran after her and apologized and kept bugging her to hang out. She finally agreed and took me to her house. Which happened to be really nice and big. But anyway, when we got there we decided to watch a movie. A scary movie. I left half way through it and claimed to use the bathroom when I was really going to scary her. I made stuff fall and that made her scream. She went to look at what it was when I jumped out making her scream. She told me to run and so I did and went into the nearest room I could find. After what felt like forever, she came into the room and I jumped out again scaring the piss out of her making her mad. I felt bad so I hugged her. I made her look at me and I said I was sorry. But what happened next was that we kissed. That kiss. Let me tell you about that kiss, it felt like the 4th of July was going on in my body. That's when I knew I fell for her. Sure ive kissed other girls but none of them felt like this. So lets just say, the next day I was kind of a complete dick to her. I honestly didn't mean to. Just that popularity can get to your head sometimes and your repretation means everything. But I realize now, it doesn't. And Niall helped me realize it. Even though this girl has a boyfriend, I just had to tell her this and maybe she would feel the  same way." I got off the chair and made my way toward Kaitlyn who was in complete shock. I continued. "Kaitlyn, Im so sorry for acting the way I did. I'm not really dating Jennifer, I only used her to make you jealous. And I know you have a boyfriend, but Kaitlyn...I love you. I want you to be mine. So will be my girlfriend?" she looked at me in awe, as everyone awww'd. Suddenly she jumped on top of me and roughly kissed me. God have I missed this.

"does that answer your question?", I grinned and picked her up spinning her around. The cafeteria erupted into claps and cheers. Finally this girl, is mine..
