~Evan's POV~
"Hey Ev! Where do ya think you're going!?" I heard a guy screaming from behind me. I turned around, seeing the blonde boy running towards me along with another. The shorter guy in the glasses looked very unhappy. More like.. He looked very frustrated and tired. I let out a soft chuckle.. These guys were such goofs.. Not only that, they were my best friends Tyler and Craig. I've known them since we were small kids..
Once Tyler caught up to me, he was panting like a dog. He hunched over, holding up his pointer finger, telling me to give him a second. Then Craig came up to us only a few moments after. His eyes rolled at the sight of the blonde.
"See that Ty? You didn't have to run a mile to get to him."
"So? This is really urgent.." Tyler exhaled out one last pant, then stood up straight. He was very tall, well.. Very tall compared to Craig. Craig was really really short, probably around a bit more of a foot shorter than Tyler..
"What's so urgent? Is it about that party tonight? Tyler, I told you that I can't go. I gotta study, and my parents told me not to be out so late." I rubbed the back of my neck. Even though I really crave of going to this party.. I really have to be top of my class. I wanna go somewhere when I get older, I wanna graduate, I wanna have a family.. Or something. Something that doesn't keep me trapped here forever. Tyler then grabbed my arms and shook me.
"So? Ev... You've been studying non-stop lately. You need to relax and let loose for once.." He let go of me, sending me almost to the concrete floor. I never realized how powerful this guy actually was. Craig stood there, nodding a bit.
"I can't let loose... Dude, do you know how many tests are coming up for me? Like.. I'm so not prepared for any of them! I need the study time.."
"Come on Evan.. One party isn't gonna hurt you. We know how you love your image, but seriously?! This is one party... JUST ONE!" The boy with the glasses started butting into the conversation that he was listening in to. I stood there, starting to think.. Maybe I should go to one of those parties.
"I know it's a party.. But... I'm just not sure if.."
"EVAN. Listen to your self. You're such a downer! Just one party... Then you could go back to your nerd stuff." I stood silent...
"Fine. You have convinced me. But that doesn't mean I'm suddenly a 'party-goer'." They both had a grin form upon their faces.
"I just can't believe it! A top student like you going to one of those parties!"
"Uh-huh... If you keep this up, you'll have 2 black eyes replacing your perfectly non-injured ones."

It was a few hours later.. I got a bit of studying in just in case I ended up coming home accidently drunk tonight. And when I say accidentally, I literally mean it. I've never drank before... Even though I had this tough side to me, it had always kinda been a mask. *DING*. I turned on my phone to see Tyler has texted me..
T: Hey! So.. The party is at Brian's house.
E: Brian? The rich kid? Seriously??
T: Yea... Don't worry, it's not like this is a formal party with a stupid list and shit.
E: Alright.. Are we gonna meet up there? Or ..
T: Me and Craig will pick you up... Along with Marcel and Lui. They apparently wanted a ride as well.
E: Alright, call me when you get here.
T: Gotcha!
I sat down on my bed, brushing the back of my neck with my hand. Like... This was really happening. THIS WAS REAL! I'm gonna break the rules.. That's how it feels at least. But I'm not... What do I do even? Do I tell my parents? No... I shouldn't. They'll think I'm slacking, and definitely never let me out of the house again. Oh my god Evan! Listen to your self.. This is suppose to be a fun! Stop stressing... Suddenly my phone started to go off. My eyes widened as I picked it up to see Tyler's face and name across the screen. Well.. I guess it's time.
