Tails and Scales (1d fanfic)

Chapter 1

Bay's POV

I scream at my angriest tone.
"You don't understand! I love him!" I scream.
"No you don't! He is just an other stupid human!" She shouts back at me.
"He is more than that!" I keep on screaming.
"You'll thank me later" she says as she pulls his body off the sand and into to the cool, refreshing ocean water. She drags him all the way in and she no longer has legs. Her black tail reveals itself and she swims away to the deeps of the ocean with him. Ready to kill the most important thing of my life.

Hi. I'm Bay Summers. If I'm going to tell you what happened I'm going to have to start from the very start.

Bay's POV
The bell rigs and school is over. Yes! Summer is here and I'm ready to go! I just graduated from high school and now summer is finally here! I grab my stuff and leave the doors if Blue Wave High School. I walk with my textbooks in my hands when I feel cold hands on my back and pulling me towards the person. I turn around quickly then suddenly have a smile in my face when I realize who it is.

"Hey!" Byrana, my best friend, smiles at me.

"What up?" I say while she joins me on the walk back home.

"So u want to go swimming with me and Lana?" She asks. Byrana and our friend Lana are mermaids. So am I actually. My family's ancestors were all mermaids. So it kinda got passed down to our family. Same thing with Byrana and Lana's family.

Byrana is a red head with blond tips, and Lana is tall and blonde. They are both beautiful. But me in the other hand am 5'4 and have natural dark purple hair with light purple tips. I know it's kind of unusual but hey, I'm a mermaid. We all have perfect skin so i guess that's a good thing.

Anyway, we walk down the streets of a small town in Hawaii. We grew up here, because the waters of Hawaii are the freshest, lightest, best water there is. And the girls and i go down to the beach everyday to get refreshed and take a swim in our natural homes.

"Of course I'm going!" I say in a duh tone.

Then we walk until we reach my house. It's right above the beach in a little hill. I live with my sister, Clarissa. Our parents died when she was 16 and I was 7 years old. I always knew I was a mermaid from age 5. That's when I first discovered my mini purple tale.

I walk to my front door and push it open. We go down the hall to my room and I get my towel and extra clothes into a beach bag. I sit on my bed and just think.

"Byrana, have you ever felt like you didn't belong on land?" I asked.

"Of course dear! That's because we don't belong here. We belong out in the waters." She says taking my hands and showing me the view I have of the ocean outside of my glass doors leading to the mini balcony I have.

"I guess your right!" I get up.
"I don't belong here" I finish.

"And we danced all night to the best song ever! We knew every line and now I can't remember!" My phone rigs. Yes, I know it's a One Direction song, but i can't help it, I love them! I take the phone out of my light ripped jeans back pocket and answer it.

"Hello?" I answer it.

"Hey Bay! It's Clarissa. Listen, I'm going to be late from work. Like really late. I'll try to make it back before it goes dark. " Clarissa speaks.

"Okay! Don't worry about it! Bye!" I say before hanging up happily.

"Why do you look so happy?" Byrana asks.

"Clarissa is not coming home until it's late!" I answer happily.

"Sweet! I see you have the house to yourself today! Lucky gurlll!" She smiles. We walk out of my room and leave the house locking the door. We go to the beach and meet Lana there. We decide to just walk around for a bit and enjoy the beauty.

Liam's POV

The lads and I just landed on a small town in Hawaii a few hours ago. We got the whole summer off and we are spending it here. They have the best beach here!

All the lads and I are in the beach enjoying the waves. Damn it's beautiful here! The view of the ocean is pretty amazing too. Louis, Niall, and I decide to surf. We get out our stuff and enter the water. The weather today is perfect today. It's sunny and the water is cold and refreshing. I slip off my shirt and start surfing. Louis and Niall do same. We do this for an hour or so until we get out and take a little break.

"Hey Liam come here!" Louis screams over to me. I approach him and all the guys are with him. They are all looking to the rocks. When my eyes shift to the rocks I see 3 beautiful girls talking and laughing. One has shining blonde hair and looked tall from what I noticed. The other had red hair and blonde to the end of her hair. The last one had dark purple hair and it fated into light purple as you reach to the tips of her hair. Unusual, but it fitted her well. She was really beautiful actually. I mean REALLY gorgeous.
