I was unhappy,
I really didn't know how..
I heard a voice one night,
say "KILL HIM NOW!"
It came from beside the bed,
right in front of my face..
I broke up with that man,
before the voice,
decided his fate..
I had a dog once,
smart as a tack..
Stood growling at my closet,
till I yelled at him "Get Back!"
I opened the door,
seen not a thing..
I moved soon after,
dragging my dog with me..
You ever feel,
your not alone..
Voices in your head,
chills in your bones..
You ever pray,
though you know not why..
Just to feel safe,
to be able to sleep at night..
I know that feeling,
ignore it not..
For it keeps spirits,
from influencing what they should not..
