An Elf Love Story (Mia and Me: Mia X Prince Mo)

Mia flopped on her bed in her Aunt's house. She sighed and pulled out a book from her book case. It was an elegant book with gold-silver edges and a red velvet cover that said 'The Legend Of Centopia' in  the center of the book. Mia opened the book and read it again for the hundredth time. She stopped on a picture of her best friends in Centopia, Mo, Yuko, and Onchao. She smiled sadly. Boy, did Mia miss them. She missed her Centopia friends as much as she missed her real life friends, Paula and Vincent. She continued reading. 

A few minutes later, she heard the mail fall on the floor and her Aunt asking her to go get the mail. Mia sighed again and put away her book. She saw the mail on the floor of the entry-way of the house. On top of it all, was a letter for Mia. Mia placed the other mail in front of her Aunt's bedroom door and opened her letter in the kitchen. Her heart swelled with happiness when she saw it was from Paula.

Dear Mia,

                      How are you? I'm so sorry I wasn't able to writer sooner. I was traveling with my Mum and this was the only time I had. I have such exciting news. You've been invited to my house this weekend! I already invited Vincent and he's coming over. You can stay as long as you want. Mum won't mind. It would be such fun! If you can't come, I understand. See you soon!

Mia was so excited. She ran up to her Aunt and asked if she could stay over at Paula's for the rest of the summer. Her Aunt agreed. Mia jumped up in down in her bedroom and started packing. Her Aunt said that she would drop her off in two days time. When she finished packing, Mia wrote a letter back to Paula.

Dear Paula,

                          I'm fine. I'v been great since I got your letter! Guess what? My Aunt said I could stay! For the rest of the summer! I have so much to tell you and Vincent and I missed you both. Aunt Mira's dropping me off tomorrow. See you then!

Mia flopped on her bed again and fell asleep, excited for tomorrow, and started dreaming about Centopia and how peaceful it was. Little did she know, it was about to become less peaceful than she thought.
