The Sword of the Holy Knight p.2

~Hawk POV~

"Hey guys, mommy said that we arrived at the village."

"What village, Hawk?"a questionable look on [Y/N] face.

"The village called Bernia, they make the best beer around." Looking at [Y/N], with excitement. She still was confused, but shrugged it off then grabbed Meliodas shirt and lifted him up to his feet.

"Thanks, [Y/N]."

"I'm still mad at you Meliodas."

Looking at the door I was excited about going to the village that I ran to the door till I heard Meliodas say something to me.

"Hawk, I need you to stay here and watch the tavern. While me, [Y/N], and Elizabeth go see if we get information."

"What that's not fair Meliodas, why do I have to stay and they get to go." Tears filling up in my eyes. Then I heard a sweet voice form [Y/N] that made me stop crying.

"The reason why Hawk, do you think anyone would talk to someone as great as you." With a sweet smile.

"I guess not, fine I'll stay just hurry back ok." Watching them leave.

~Meliodas POV~
Leaving the tavern to Hawk [Y/N], sweet lingering voice was still fresh in my mind. She had the greatest smile in my world. Slanting my eyes towards [Y/N], she was still smiling. Till she looked my way causing me to turn my head quickly way for her not to see me blush. Looking the other way I could tell there was no water running thru the stream where herbs and berries grow.

I wonder, what happen to the water that was running thru the stream.

Then suddenly I bump into someone causing me to fall backwards into [Y/N].

Young Man: "Oh, It's you bar owner how have you been."

"I've been good, hey is there a festival going on?"looking confused.

Young Man: "No, idiot the village is trying to get a sword out of the ground that is blocking the water to flow. That stupid Holy Knight put his sword in the ground cause he didn't like our beer." Allowing Meliodas to see it for himself.  The sword had a golden henge that had a unique style to who ever owns it. Everyone was trying to pull it up, but failed in the end. Then we heard to holy knights in training.

Holy knight 1: "It's pathetic that you are trying to lift the sword."

Holy Knight 2: "Yeah, you will never get it out of there hahahahahha."

Then suddenly a boy light brown/yellow hair came out from the crowd and said

"Don't worry, my friend is one of the deadly sins he will helps us out!" Then the villagers looked at the kid angry. Which was my que, I pushed fast I could running while dodging the food the villagers were throwing at him. Leaving [Y/N] and Elizabeth in the village.

~[Y/N] POV~
Watching Meliodas leave gave me an idea to talk with two holy knights in training. I glided over to them without making a sound.

I'm just going to have some fun with them heheheheheh

"Hello boys." They looked my way pissed of and drunk.

Holy Knight 1: "What do you want girly?"

"Oh, I just wanted to ask you something?"

Holy Knight 2: "What do you want to ask?"

"Why are you two here?"

Holy Knight 1: "Because our boss said so."

"Why?"

Holy Knight 2: "Because, it's part of our training."

"Why?"

Holy Knights 1: "Our boss couldn't do it, that's why."

"Why?"

Holy Knights 2: " Because everyone else was taking care of the boss."

"Why?"

Holy knights 1: "..... Why did we have to do this?"

Holy Knights 2: "We did it, cause everyone raised our hands." They both looked at each other realize what was going on.

"Why?"

Holy knights 1: "B..Because no one wanted to do it and we are the idiots that took it." Crying started to come from his eyes.

"Why?"

Holy knights 2: "please stop it with the whys I can't take it anymore." Seeing him beg I walked over to Elizabeth who was watching the two grown men cry.
I looked back at them and said

"See now we got to the root of your problems." Smiling as I walk over to Elizabeth

"[Y/N] you didn't have to make them cry did you?"

"Maybe or maybe I didn't let's go." I grabbed Elizabeth's arm pulling her with me back to the tavern.
