Ch.2

"Get up!" An unknown voice screamed, waking him up. He sat on the bed quickly, still sleepy and shocked from the sudden screaming. Realization hit him when the guard continued screaming and waking up the other prisoners. He rubbed his eyes, remembering that he was in prison and that actual sleeping wasn't possible. The bed was uncomfotable, the blankets were too thin and it was too cold. He could bet the food wasn't anything better, since he haven't tried it yet.

It was just his second day, but he already hated everything and everyone. The thought of staying there for 12 more years angered him. He promised himself that he will escape when the chance appears.

He followed the other prisoners to the bathroom because he didn't know where it is. He was washing his face when a blonde-haired guy came.

"Are you the new guy?" He asked and handed him the towel. With a simple nod, he wiped his face and gave him the towel back.

"I'm Jackson Wang" He offered his hand for a handshake.

"Shin Hoseok, but call me Wonho" Even tho he sounded friendly, he didn't take his hand. It wasn't his plan to make friends, he just wanted to get out of the damn prison already.

"So" Jackson spoke when he realized that he won't get a handshake. "How did you get here?"

"Long story"

'I don't even know myself' He thought.

"I've been here for almost 5 years so I know pretty much everyone and everything. My speciality tho" He smirked and leaned closer, whispering the last part. "Is escaping"

It was Wonho's turn to smirk. "If you're so good at it, why are you still here?"

"I have my own reasons. Now, since you are new, I'll show you around" He said as they walked out of the bathroom and headed to the cafeteria.

"The cafeteria food truly sucks, but Mrs. Lee is a good cook. She gives actual food to the few ones she likes''

"Does she like you?"

"Nope" Jackson smiled as they entered the cafeteria and stood in the line. "The usual food is a half-burnt rice, some soup and a glass of water"

Well, at least there is rice.

As Jackson talked, he scanned the whole cafeteria with his eyes. Most of the tables were taken and all the guys pretty much looked similiar - tall, muscular, angry and bald. He just wanted to avoid getting in a conversation with those guys, because he simply wasn't one of them.

"Your turn" Jackson whispered. He took the tray and looked at the woman, probably Mrs. Lee. Not knowing what to do since it was his first time in a jail, he bowed slightly. The woman threw some food in his tray and stared at him seriosly.

"Thank you" He said quietly and walked away. He could feel someone's eyes on him but he didn't turn around. Instead, he tried to find a place to sit.

"Can I sit here?" He asked one black-haired guy who was sitting alone in the far corner. The guy smiled at him brightly and nodded.

"Thanks" He said quietly and sat across him. He wondered why is this guy sitting alone while everyone else sat together. He stared at the guy for a few seconds before turning his attention on the food. The frown appeared on his face when he smelled the soup.

Is this poison-

"Don't worry, there's no poison in it" The guy suddenly said. "That soup is actually good for your stomach, but most of the prisoners throw it"
