Chapter 22- Teammate Gone Wild

"So, why am I being assigned out like this? It's a shittin' chore!" Shikamaru said as we ran through the forest.

"I've already told you," I answered as I tried to keep up. I am really tired right now to be running around.

"This way!" Pakkun said as he suddnly turned right. I sighed as I followed really wishing I had stayed... I kind of get Shikamaru right now. "Hey you guys, pick up the pace!"

"Agh, we're fast enough already..." I muttered annoyed as I tried to run faster.

"Yes but-"

"I know, I know. We're being followed," I interrupted annoyed. I mean, in the show you never come to think of all the exercise this ninja do! It's pretty harsh!

"Yes... eight, no more... nine-"

"I know this already! And yeah Shikamaru they are beyond Chunnin, Whopee. We can't ambush them Naruto, it'll be plain stupid, yeah Shikamaru, someone has to stay behind. No you're not staying, I am!" 

"You can't," Shikamaru said after getting over the shock.

"What?" Naruto and Sakura said confused.

"You guys don't get it-"

"Look, we'll probably lose if we ambush them," I stated as I tried to continue. Sasuke, you suck. "We don't have advantage at all."

"Exactly," Shikamaru said sighing. "All we have is an idiot, one kunoichi with no special ability, a dog, another kunoichi that can barely keep up with us, and the best guy at running away, me!"

"Hey!" I said as I jumped and smacked him in the back of his head. "At least I'm good in a fight!"

"I never said you weren't," he stated smirking as I pouted and was left behind a little again.

"Anyway, before you continue, what we need is a decoy," I stated as I panted.

"Yeah, and the one staying behind will probably die," Shikamaru stated.

"Look, I'm tired of running, just let me stay!" I panted as I almost tripped.

"No. And the dog is necessary for taking Sasuke, in which case..."

"I understand I'll-" Naruto started.

"I guess I'm the only one..." Shikamaru stated.

"Are you deaf! I'm staying now run off," I said completely stopping.

"No. You'll die," Shikararu stated as he landed beside me and pushed me, making me jump to the next branch.

"Fine..." I muttered annoyed. "Don't worry, you won't die."

We continued jumping, leaving Shika behind. Damn! It’s too much for me.

"The enemies are coming-"

"He didn't run away," I stated as I ran more. I'm dying of exhaustion.

"You're right... the pursuers have stopped moving,"

"And I think I'm gonna stop moving too..." I muttered as I jumped again.

"You're out of shape Alison!" Sakura scolded.

"Well, I'm tired!" I snapped.

"Really?" Pakkun said sarcastically.

"Shuddup you cute doggy." I mocked as he just kept running. Where the hell does- 

"OH!" I said stopping. "I've got an idea!"

"Hurry up!" Pakkun said as Sakura and Naruto came to a stop.

"Summoning Jutsu!" I said after I bit my finger.

There was a 'puff' and it cleared to show... a fox? Ah well, its fine with me.

"Okay, you're a guy right... stupid question... you're name is Todd!" I said happily as I climbed on his back exhausted.

"Ah, P-princess?" he said shocked looking at his shoulder nervously. "W-Why are you on my back?"

"I'm tired," I whined as I dropped my head on his shoulders. He was kind of big and comfy. 

He sighed as he looked confused. 

"What?" I asked confused by his confusion... did that confuse me? Yes.

"It's just... you don't exactly act... royally..." he started. "N-No offence Princes Akira! I'm just saying-"

"Ah don't worry," I assured interrupting when Naruto and Sakura looked at me confused. "Please though, call me Alison. Now, off we go!"

We started running again, and let's just say, the purpose of Todd was for me to keep energy right? Yeah... I didn't think about how much chakra summoning him would take.

"Alison-sama..." Todd said reluctantly. "Not to question your decisions, but why are we running?"

"Oh," I said carelessly, "A teammate gone wild left, and we're going back for him. Total waste of time if you ask me... Anyway, I'm far too tired to keep up with these three."

I nodded as he continued easily keeping up with the others.

"You wasted too much chakra... I expect there is no fight ahead?"

"Heh... quite the contrary..." I muttered sighing. "But I guess I'll have to try and fight-"

"No," Todd said suddenly stopping. "I'm not letting you fight in this state. Or you sit out, or I stop here."

"Alison, come on!" Naruto urged me.

"Fine," I muttered as I rested my head once again in his soft fur. "I won't fight."

He started running again, easily catching up.

"I think I might just sleep..." I mumbled as I made myself comfy. "Todd, when we arrive there you have to fight. I don't care if I don't but help Naruto in every way you can. Once his fight is over, if I'm not awake you have to wake me. He'll be weak, and I need to help."

I felt him nod as I finally gave in to my lack of energy. I so need training more often. I have to tell Neji.

I know it's short. -.- I was really tired since I'm in exams and I gave up in this... however, I have planned what will happen next! wuwuw! I already want to et to Shippuden!!!! so yeah... that's Todd.. kinda.. sorry for shortness... maybe tomorrow I'll update and stuff..
