Prologue Aaliyah POV
I yanked my shirt off without any thought to the window being open. after all, the house next door looked like no one was in. This was harmless anyways really because my bedroom was at the very rear of the house, facing trees on one side the house next door on the other. It couldn't be seen on the street.
So it was a complete horror that I turned right and looked into the eyes of a boy gazing right back at me from the opposite bedroom window. I shrieked and snatched my shirt from the bed, pressing it to my chest. The boy made no effort to conceal his laughter or move away for my benefit.
Then I got a good look at him and my eyes spread wider. it couldn't be, not right next door. I re-fastened my shirt back up and dashed toward the window he was watching me through, and slammed the blinds shut with a loud SNAP.
The nerve of him standing there, watching me. Probably thinks this will happen at the time. Probably thinks i'm in the habit of it.
And I was, but I wasn't going to admit that.
I waited a few moment then peeked through the blinds. He was still standing there, his mouth moved into a sly grin when he saw my peek through.
Raising a fist, I pounded at the window and motioned for him to put the window up.
He obliged me, though it took him a moment. I laid my palm flat to the window screen.
"You- saw me!" I snapped.
"Yes, yes I did" he chuckled.
He was considerably tall and broad in his shoulders. With a deep voice loud enough to make the floor shake and hair sprouting on his chin. But those blue eyes. Damn those blue sexy eyes.
"Ryan Davies?" I finally spat, recognizing his dangerously attractive features from seeing him around in school.
"That's me" he smiled.
"And what..you live next door?"
"Yep" he says popping the p. "Great now you moved in, I have something to look forward to every morning" he grined straight at me.
That boy, gets on my last nerves.
"Don't get your hopes up Davies," I spat. "You don't even know me.." I added.
"Yeah, but you know me" he smiled. "And I can easily get to know you, neighbour"
Fuck. I forgot about the whole neighbour thing. This is going to be a hard life living next to the hottest guy in school, Davies, Ryan.
I couldn't stand my social anxiety thoughts dancing through my head. My life is a complete disaster.
"Yeah, whatever" I hissed at him before closing my window tight and shutting my blinds back down.
Help- Me.
Ryan
The wind rushing through my hair as the water trickles my toes. My surf boards going crazy over waves when I see a pretty figure strut down the beach. I lose control, I see nothing but her amazing body.
"Ryan! ! Watch out!" my mate called out as a big tidal came rushing in. I quickly snap back into reality and quickly try to dodge the wave. quickly but not fast enough.
I'm capsized.
I see trillions of little fishes under the sea, my mind is lost.
I swim towards my board and lugged it towards the beach line.
"Shit.." I cry out shaking seaweed off my hair.
"Ry you've got to stay focused, you can't get distracted by pretty girls walking by the beach" My mate Kieran yells at me as he walks towards me. I gaze towards the figure I saw a earlier.
