Nine hours before:

I had bought the tickets so last minute. Some of the last ones, but I just had to go. The feeling at a concert. The bass making your heart pound in your chest. Every time he strums his guitar the goosebumps on my arm. Its like I'm in a whole different world at a concert. The level of energy. The people. The band. The perfect night.

None of my friends like their music but that doesn't bother me. All that matters is that I do and I can go.

Now is the time - The concert starts in 8 hours but might as well be early.

Eight hours before:

I got in the car, put on my seatbelt, picked a playlist, put the keys in the ignition, and let out a sigh as my hands where on the wheel, looking down at my ripped jeans. Thinking I'm about to go to their concert, they're here. All my favorite songs and I get to hear them live. A smile swept across my face as I backed out of the driveway. What an amazing experience to start off my senior year with.

I parked so close to the arena, that I was surprised to get the parking spot. I went inside to claim my ticket and there were only people there who had come early to get their spot in the pit. I guess 8 hours really is quite early to be at a concert.

Once I realized it was going to be a really long time until the concert, I figured that I might as well walk around and explore the arena a little bit, It was all in an oval shape, so for the most part it is just a large loop. I found a curtain that was draped over a door, so why not try and open it right?

There I was opening a door, that probably was not meant to be opened by someone like me. It was such a mysterious door though. Practically screaming "open me, open me." Of course I am going to open the door. I was greeted by a fairly long hallway on the other side. Carefully shutting the door behind me so nobody knew I had just wandered In, I then walked down the hallway. If you carry yourself with enough confidence you are bound to look like you are supposed to be there. So that's what I did. I walked down the hallway like I was supposed to be there.

Seven hours before:

Out of nowhere a group of people with head pieces and lanyards walked out of another door along the hallway, still I acted as If i was supposed to be there. The lady in the front approached me. She was holding a clipboard and looks like she means business, so I tried very hard not to look too intimidated by her. She began to speak "Hello, Miss. Where is your lanyard ?" I realized this might happen so already had some responses lined up. I touched the place on my chest several times where a lanyard would fall, as if trying to find it "Oh my, I must have left it in the last room I was in. I'll go grab it now. So sorry for the inconvenience... Ms?" "It's Ms, Stone to you. Try not to lose it so easily next time." She sad very bluntly. "Yes ma'am, of course."

Ms. Stone and her team then walked the other direction and I proceeded to walk along the halls. I could have been majorly busted just then. There was another door, that I decided to go through. There were many people there. I could not even process what was happening before several people were yelling at me "You must be her." "The boys were asking for some company" "They asked that one of the staff go be with them before the show" "We will take you there" "You must be lost - poor thing, let us help" I did not even know how to respond and I definitely was not sure of what I was hearing... The boys??? I was having a freak out in my mind, but was being pushed down the hall and down another corridor before I fully understood it. I'm not even sure when they grabbed my wrist leading me down so many halls and down stairs. How am I ever to find my way out?

All of a sudden I was in the same room as all four of my boys. Finn, Chase, Alec, and Jackson. All messing around and throwing a beach ball around. I'm really freaking out in my head so i'm thinking up a gameplay about how this is going to go down. I'll be cool, as if I am one of their friends, or be clueless, do I fangirl, wait okay yes, i'll play it cool.

"Hey guys, I guess you wanted someone to keep you company. I was walking around in the hall and then I was being brought down here." I said trying my best not to stutter and laughing a little as the last words spilled off my tongue. Finn responded first to my relief "Hey! yeah we needed one more person to through around the ball and hang out with before the gig. C'mon over. "

Im pretty sure that my favorite band just asked me to come over and pretty much hang out with them. I'm actually melting on the inside and it is quite difficult to hold all my excitement in. Trying as hard as I can to just act like they are my friends.

Six hours before:

We started throwing the beachball around but it quickly escalated to chucking the ball at each other. We all grabbed the other balls from all across the room. Hiding behind the couch, looking up, throwing the ball and ducking back down behind the couch. I teamed up with Chase and we took the left couch to hide behind. We made a game plan just by looking at each other. He chucked the first ball at Finn and Alec. Jackson decided to be his own team and try to defeat us all. When Jackson tried to hide, we could see his purple hair sticking out from behind the wall. So it was not much of a surprise when the ball went flying at Finn. Once it hit Finn, he took the bandana off of his head and wrapped it around his head draping it from his nose down; he looked like he was a bandit from the wild west. Then he yelled at Jackson and ran around the room chasing hm in circles with the ball above his head ready to throw. Jackson was running faster, but picking up balls along the way throwing them behind him, in an effort to make Finn slow down.

Alec and Chase exchanged eye contact from behind the couches. I had no idea what their plan was but I could tell that they had just teamed up. Alec ducked his head behind the couch and disappeared for a moment, I couldn't even see a bit of his spiky blonde hair poke up behind the couch. Chase tried to tell me another game plan, but I could tell by the look in his eyes something was about to happen, as if he was just trying to distract me. Alec came out of nowhere and before I knew it I was in the air being carried over his shoulder and he was walking around the room carrying me. He placed me down on the couch landing next to Finn saying, "And that, my lady is how we play our games." He then put his hands on his hips, looking s proud in the random game that just went down.

I was laughing so hard that I fell over into Finn's lap before I stopped. It was like I was part of their friendship and I loved it. I responded after pulling myself together from laughing so hard, "THE GAMES ARE NOT OVER YET!" I quickly stood up and started chucking the beachballs at the boys in all different directions until I ran out of balls to throw. I saw them all grab balls from around them and they raised them up, ready to throw at me. What did just start I thought to myself as all four of them are coming after me with beachballs.
