Halloween Night

Chapter 7

Bang! Bang! Bang! Went Cody's gun. First bullet hit Colten in the shoulder the second and third hit him in the stomach.

Colten awoke in dark, cold, small room. It looked like a jail cell. He heard drip drip drip in the corner. Colten finally realized the pain in his stomach and shoulder. There was blood everywhere his hands, the floor, his stomach, his shoulder, even the wall. Colten was baffled by the blood on the walls. How did it get there? Was it his? Was it someone else's? All these thoughts went through his head all at once and gave him a giant headache.
"I see you have awakened" said Cody over a loud intercom. Colten jumped at the sound of Cody's voice. "What do you want with me? Just leave me alone! Let me go!" Colten screamed on the floor clenching his bloody stomach. A villainous laugh came on the intercom. Colten began to cry knowing no matter what he did he couldn't escape and he would forever be alone. That is if Cody didn't kill him first. Just as Cody read his mind Coby said over the intercom "I know you're think you're going to die. Well, you're not dying. At not by me...hopefully. I only wish to keep you here forever and well...you'll see later on." He laughed after those words of evilness.

It's been five years of Cody keeping Colten hostage. He has been beaten and starved and far worse. All that changed when the police finally found him and captured Cody.

"You'll pay for this! You all will!" Cody yelled. Then he did the strangest escape strategy ever, he bit the cops. The officer screamed in pain, blood flowing down his hand. The other cop tackled Cody as he tried to make a run for it. It was finally over. Colten was free.
