Ella woke up to realise herself in California. She had slept the whole time. She liked the view of the skyscrapers, bright street lights and the scenic view of the city. Staten Island fails in comparison to her new city.
As their mum, Barbara Anderson parked in front of their automatic gate,Ella remembered the Shawn Mendes concert coming on that night and Brian was going to be there. Her hatred for Maya rose because she was going for that concert with Brian. Infact Ella saw both of them purchasing the ticket two days ahead of the concert. Ella burst into tears and anger on her siblings, whenever they spoke to her. The Andersons had a new house with a bigger pool, bigger compound, bigger garage,bigger rooms and a bigger family area. The movers had gotten there before they did. Mr.Anderson was landing from a business trip in Africa. The movers had offloaded everything and positioned them at their right places. Ella, Nelda and Max were called by their and instructed by their mum.
"We will have to pick your dad up from the Airport tomorrow, visit your new schools and have fun. I'll want you to take a shower now and rest. And by the way, welcome to your new house"she said.
"Ready yet?"shouted Mrs. Anderson
They sat at the dining table and had their breakfast of pancakes and waffles.
