It is I, the one and only Adrianna712, here with our third writing contest!
This one is going to be a little bit different than the previous ones, as the first one was a poetry contest and the second one revolved around music. Not to mention, the movement has expanded a ton!
So, what is the prompt for this competition?
The answer to that question is simple: Tale of Today. In other words, a modern fairytale. This idea sprung to life because I'm such a sucker for happy endings.
However, I'd like to add a small twist to it. It needs to be told from the would-be villain's point of view. This time, the villain is the protagonist and they are helping the original princess/warrior/original main character. Also, the "villain" is going to get the happily ever after this time. It needs to be realistic and follow our guidelines as well. Finally, make it relate to the fairytale. Names, backgrounds, etc. That all needs to tie in realistically, but in kind of a witty way. Please be sure to tag your entry.
Tags: #SincerityMovement #TaleOfToday Also it needs to be under the category "Short Story" as it is no longer fantasy. Let it have about 10,000 words total. That isn't very much, if you think about it.

Those are only a few. Note that these aren't Disney movies. I mean, they are, but they were written stories at one point too. Furthermore, in the description of your story, don't put something like, "a Tangled twist". It should be (if you choose to do this) "a Rapunzel twist". Got it? Good.
Final Entry Date:November 4, 2016, 11:59 pm EST. Any entries submitted after that will not be considered vailid. Winners will be announced November 9, 2016.
