Dear Diary,
Today is my birthday, the 17th of December. This year I'm turning 14, and I just got this diary to write in for my 1 present from my father who is overseas in Afghanistan. My mother died when I was 6, so it's just me and my abusive brother. His name is Conan, he is 21, I'll explain the abuse at a later time. I have to go to bed, or bad things will happen.
