Have you ever wondered what happens to your shadow when you die? That's when Mort goes to work. You may think that his job of ripping shadows from the bodies of humans is a depressing job, but the little horned beast seems quite happy with his occupation. Meeting dying people and hauling shadows home to the Shadow Realm with the help of his Pigbat, Katch is his favorite pastime. Along the way, he'll deal with his overbearing boss, BloodHarvest, meet up with his friend Spoils several times, and meet the shadow he admires more than any other in his life: Adrian. Though, Adrian doesn't seem thrilled to meet Mort. So get going and remember, as Mort always says: "If you don't start going now, you're never going to get there!"
