Day 3
Jacks POV
Mark had left about an hour ago to go pick up our suits because they were ready. At the moment I was huddled under a blanket binge watching Disney movies while stuffing my face with food. It had started to rain pretty hard, and the rain was slamming against the windows. I didn't care much for rain, since I spent my whole life in Ireland; but for some reason I could never get used to thunderstorms. Whenever one would shake the house back in Ireland, I'd jump and crawl under the nearest object for cover. Usually I will cry, my fear of the storms have never left.
Cinderella was playing on the TV and the mice were making a gown to go to the ball in. Stretching and cracking my neck, i decided to go and take a walk around the house to stretch my sleeping legs. Honestly, I more or less unfashionably waltzed around the house, leaning on countertops to keep my balance. My feet wouldn't wake up, so it was making it quite difficult to move. Slamming into a wall for the second time, I decided to just sit. Dragging my back down against the wall, letting out a deep breath until I hit the bottom. My feet finally awoke, and I cringed at the unsettling feeling. Once it subsided, I decided to go back to our couch and relax until Mark gets back. Halfway to the couch, I heard it.
A loud boom echoed through the house. My face paled, and I started to feel weak. The next one was worse. Lighting flashed across the gray ridden sky and thunder shook the house, then the lights went out. Screaming than dropping to the floor, another surge of light burst and thunder roared. I put a hand over my mouth and sobbed. Trying to see out of my tear covered blurry eyes, I sprinted underneath our couch, back up as far as I could go (they have a big ass couch). Huddling into a corner, I whimpered and called out for Mark. I knew he wasn't coming back for awhile, and there was no one here to save me.

Marks POV
Ive been waiting in this damn suit shop for 2 fucking hours, and I have gotten no confirmation whatsoever on when I can get the suits. Exhaling loudly and looking at the clock, I watched the big hand slowly tick by, making every agonizing second and minute even longer. Bored and tired, I leaned my head back against the comfy chair, not caring that my eyes were shutting into slumber.
I jolted awake, a loud boom awakening me from my slumber. Must be a storm. I thought to myself, relaxing back into the chair. Wait, a storm! I shot up standing, looking through the giant glass pane window covered in water, quickly streaking to the bottom. Panicking, I remember had a fear of storms. If I leave now, I won't be able to get the suits. Warily sitting back down, my legs were jumping and I was biting my nails.
"Mark...Fischbach?" A woman in a snug fitting suit called out. I stood up and she smiled at me, motioning me in.
"Hello Mark, it seems that your suits are ready! If you just sign here, you'll be good to go." The lady exclaimed in a preppy voice. Wanting to get this done as quickly as possible, I signed the papers, thanked her, and booked it out of there, of course not forgetting the suits. Throwing them into the passenger seat and swerving off into the road, I went above the speed limit hoping my Jackaboy was okay.

I pulled up into the driveway, hoping out of the car and forgetting about the suits for now. Fumbling to unlock the door, I finally was able to unlock and burst it open.
"Jack? Where are you?!" I called out. Anxiety and fear flooded my body. Where could he be? He isn't answering. Walking through all the rooms, I called out yet again.
"Jack, please Jack!" More anxiety consumed my body, until I heard a faint sniffle. Lightning cracked through the dark house and I heard a yelp come from the living room. Sprinting in there, I couldn't see a thing. I loosened up just a bit, knowing Jack was in here.
"Jack, please come out. I'm here now, you're safe. I want to protect you, but I can only do that if I can feel you." I was now looking around the dark room, hoping to see a figure move. Then, thunder crackled and lightning strikes, and a pair of tight arms wrapped around me, sending me stumbling back a bit.
I also wrapped my arms around Jack, him crying into my shoulder, body shaking. "Im right here Jack, I'll always be here for you." I cooed into his ear. I led him to the couch and laid him down on top of me, so his head was resting on my chest. He was clutching the sides of my shirt as I pet his hair, playing with it to soothe him. Once i felt his steady breathing, i grabbed a blanket and drooped it over us, allowing both of us to fall into a deep slumber.
