Friend Requested

It is now Wednesday and It has been several days since we had brunch. I am lounging in bed enjoying the peace and quiet.

My mom and dad are getting ready to go onto Ireland for few days and I will be taking them to the ferry tomorrow morning. They asked me  for the day today for themselves to revisit old hangouts from their college days. They want to also see a few of their old classmates.

The girls have gone to Finnleys house for their great aunts 80th birthday party. So tonight I will be cooking for myself.

I wonder what I should make for dinner tonight. Maybe I should set up my computer and search for recipes.

I look over at the clock on my night table and see that it is 10:30. I should probably get up and start the day. I threw the covers off and walked out of my room and down the hall to the kitchen. I grabbed my favorite Mug and made some coffee.

My buzzer rang.

"Hello" I asked pressing the responder

"I have a package for Miss Victoria Kingsley Ma'am." The male voice said.

"Oh Great I'll be right down" I said placing my cup on the counter and going out into the hall and over to the lift.

Taking the lift down to the ground floor I stepped off and walked to the door.

The delivery man had my computer on the ground and a clip board in his hand.

I opened the door

"Good Morning Ma'am if you can sign next to your name on line 14" He said.

"Thank you so much" I said signing the clipboard

"You're welcome. Have a great day!" He said picking up the computer and handing ot to me.

I took the computer and walked back over to the lift and went back up to my flat.

I walked in and brought my computer into my office and began to take apart the packaging.

Assembling the computer was the easy part and after of fiddling with the cords and then with the internet connection I was finally connected to the outside world. I am not addicted to social media or anything but I would like to check in with friends from home. Apart from the day I landed when I sent a group text letting them know I arrived safely I have been radio silent.

The only item I have left to get now is a mobile phone to use while I live in England. Maybe I'll order one once I have checked in on my friends at home.

I clicked on firefox and typed facebook into the web address bar and then waited for the site to load. Once loaded I logged into my Facebook account and saw I had several notifications which included a Friend Request from HW.

I also had a message waiting in my inbox.

Harry: Hi Tori, It was lovely to meet you at Brunch on Sunday. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better.

I accepted his friend request and quickly replied.

Tori: Hello H, Yes, brunch was lovely. I would love to get to know you better as well. If you would like I am making Dinner tonight you are welcome to join me.

I hit send and then went checked my notifications. There were also friend requests from Finnley, Aiden and Siobhan. Accepting all three requests. I also saw there was a photo I was tagged in by my best friend from home.

I commented on the Photo: Ella. I could never forget you. We've been glued at the hip since we were babies.
You must come for a visit soon.

I then went back to setting up my computer desk with my school supplies and calendar.

I looked online to see who has the best network for mobile phones in the UK and once the carrier was picked I decided to get the new IPHONE 7. I ordered it and selected next day delivery.

I heard a beep and glanced at the bottom of my screen I noticed that I received an I.M. from Harry.

Harry: I would love to join you for dinner. What time shall I arrive?

Tori: Anytime you wish. I am planning to start cooking in an hour and dinner should be ready to serve at 7.

Harry: May I help you prepare dinner?

Tori: you can if you would like to or you can just come over and hang out. Whichever you prefer.

Harry: ok. Ill be over shortly. See you soon.

He logged out of facebook.

Well he knows where Shiv and Finn live so he must know where I live.

I let my office and made a mad dash to my bathroom to freshen up.

What do I wear? I mean we are just hanging out at the apartment; but then again he is a freakin' prince.
