Love in London

Henry

We moved our little party to the living room. I carried the salad plates and Harry carried the Lasagna plates.
Harry and I placed the plates on the coffee table and then I went and put a movie on.
Harry went back into the kitchen to grab our sodas and silverware. Placing them both down on the coffee table.
He came back in and sat on the couch.
"For your viewing pleasure we will be watching Speed staring Dennis Hopper, Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves"
"Good Choice. How many times have you seen this movie?" He asked me as he took a bite of his lasagna
"Too many to count. You?" I answered while walking over to sit on the couch next to him.
"Likewise" he said taking another bite
"What's your favorite scene?" I picked up my salad plate and fork and getting settled in on couch.
"The flying Bus"
"I love that scene too and ooh when Sandra and Keanu finally depart the bus that's up there for me too"
"So besides Speed what other movies do you like?"
"Omg I am a movie addict. That's a hard one to answer. But my friends at home always say when they come over it's alway one of the Fast & Furious movies that on my TV. How about you?"
"Wow, I never would have guessed. You like action movies?"
"Let me guess you were expecting me to be a chick flick fan?"
"Sort of"
"I don't hate them but they wouldn't be my first choice. So tell me what is your favorite movie"
"I don't really have a lot of time to watch movies...but when I can I like the Marvel & DC comic movies. I do also like the Bond Franchise."

"Don't hate me...I have never seen any of the Bond Films" I said bowing my head in shame
"I don't hate. But we will need to broaden your horizons."
"Next Movie Night then" I suggested hopefully.
"Agreed" Harry grinned

We finished eating dinner about 20 minutes later.

Harry's phone rang. Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out his iPhone and a picture of Will and Kate popped up on the screen.

"I'm sorry. it's Wills I need to take this."
"Not a problem... if you need some privacy you can go on the balcony or into my office."
"Thanks I think I will need some privacy. I'm going to use your office. I'll be right back." He said and got up from the couch and walked over to my office. I head the door quietly click shut.

I paused the movie and went back into the kitchen and pulled the Tiramisu and the whipped cream from the refrigerator.

I went and grabbed 2 plates and sliced up the dessert. I then pulled 2 of the coffee cups that match my china set out.
I went to the fridge and pulled out the creamer and placed it on the counter. I walked over to the pantry and pulled out the cinnamon.

Harry was still in my office on the phone so I started the process of cleaning up the kitchen and putting the left overs away.
I grabbed my iPad and put some music to help the cleaning process.

Superheroes - The Script started

I tried to keep the volume a little on the quiet side. I don't want to interrupt Harry's call.
I went and grabbed the plates from the living room and loaded them into the dish washer.
When the kitchen was cleaned up and food put away I set about dressing the plates and plating the desserts.

I decided that while I am waiting I would check my email.

Mrs. Obama had sent me an email

Hi Tori,
I hope you are settling into your flat nicely. Are you excited for school to be starting? I can't wait to hear all about it. Have you got a phone yet in England? Please let me know I would love to chat. Barack spoke to your father today and he told us you have met Harry. Isn't he a doll? I know you have a little bit of a crush on him. I'll keep my fingers crossed that something comes of it for you. I promise I haven't mentioned anything to him about it. That is yours and yours only to tell. But if you do decide you would like some help......

I have to run but I just want to let you know I will be making a trip to London in October and I would love to meet up for Coffee and hear all about school and how things are going in London.

I was considering my response when Harry came back out.
"Everything ok?" I asked looking up from my iPad.
"Yeah. Sorry about that. I didn't know what Wills was calling for so I was just erring on the side of caution." He said taking a seat at the counter.

"Not a problem. It gave me sometime to clean up a bit and prepare dessert."
"Wonderful."

The song changed to Waiting for a Star to Fall - Boy meets Girl; Harry grinned when this song came on.

"I'm sorry I love music; I think I might die without hearing music. I can change the song if you like"
"No don't you dare love. This song is great. Every time I hear it I am a little kid again watching Three Me and a Little Lady with Beatrice and Eugenie"
"That's one of the reasons I love this song." I grinned
"What was your favorite scene into the movie?" He asked
"It's a toss up. I LOVE the rap song all of the guys perform and the end when Jack starts to remove his prosthetics"
"The raps song is pretty great." He agreed.

We sat at the counter eating the Tiramisu and chatting. After we finished our desserts we went back to the living room and settled in on the couch. Once we were comfortable I pressed play and Keanu was just attempting to launch himself on to the bus from the convertible.

As the movie progressed we got closer and closer on the couch and Harry wrapped his arm my shoulders. Shortly after the the bus Jump it started to get cold with the Air I grabbed the throw blanket and covered us.

I fell asleep shortly before the movie ended. When I woke I was tucked into my bed and there was a note on my night stand.

I had a lovely time with you last night. I'm sorry to sneak out while you were sleeping. You haven't done anything wrong I promise. My brother called and asked my to look after George and Charlotte today. I would love to get together later today if you have time. Please call me.
