The moon loves the sun

If I was the moon than she was the sun
We meet for a while but then we are done
We get so high up in the clouds all alone
But my favorite place of all is meeting the sun
When she rises to the clouds and I fall
When I rise to the clouds and she falls
I live for the moments in between when we meet
Those moments of bliss so tender and sweet
But what happens if the sun doesn't rise
Will another sun replace her to give light
I would say no indeed I just might
Because no other sun but her can brighten my life
So life remains dark like the space around me
But maybe one day the sun will rise and see
That she is my light, love, and best part of me
I miss the sun so much it hurts to breathe
Now I must rise alone it's time for me to leave
Goodbye sweet sun may you shine for eternity
