After the events of the lay week I just wanted to rest up. I slumped into school the week after Halloween and fell into my spot under the stairs. I had only just arrived when all the boys came crowding around. I groaned and looked from face to face. There was Kieron and Daniel, both shirt with brown hair. River had started dating Kieron, which was probably the main reason everyone was here. Their spirits were little ferrets. Then there was Aman and a boy named Quil. He was the same height as me and had thick blonde hair. His spirit was an arctic fox. Finally there was Zack. He was super short with light blonde hair. He had dark brown eyes and had a black cat as his spirit.
"What do you guys want." Freya glared at them.
"Well-" Aman started in his silly narrator voice, "We just wanted to see River since, yano, she's dating Kieron."
We all sighed in unison as Kieron gave River a hug and a kiss on the cheek. We weren't big lovers in our group.
Then they all decided to sit with us. I got into a conversation with Jenna, Delia, Freya and Zack about food. Then you had Quil, Aman and Daniel talking, and finally River and Kieron laughing and joking in the corner.
When the bell went we bid farewell to our friends and headed to class, teasing River the whole way. The day flew by and at the end of the day I met up with Venus.
"Question," He started like every conversation, "Vampire or werewolf?"
"I don't know, urm.. werewolf." I replied.
"Hmm, TV or YouTube?"
"YouTube." I answered quickly.
Our conversation carried on like this for about ten minutes, until something tugged at my bag. I swivelled around to see a mass of orange hair. I looked further down to see Inferno grinning up at me.
"Hello." He flashed his white teeth and joined Venus and me.
His black and red basalisk popped out of his bag, looking over at Echo.

After the long walk home I slumped knot my bed; Echo jumped into the end of my bed and curled up. My brother and sister came running in to hug me. They told me all about their day and played with Echo. I pulled out my headphones and put them in, and it wasn't long until I was in a deep sleep.
