It's been 23 years since the new law has been passed. Ever since then, the Republic of Nova hasn't been the same. One out of every three children are experimented on by the Lab, as per the new law stating they could, for the so-called "better of humanity". The Republic of Nova is home to many alien species, but so far, only trolls and humans have been experimented with, spliced with both plant and animal genes. There are twenty teenagers kept in a lab, still being experimented on. None of them know what the outside world is like, aside from watching television programs and listening to music. Half of these teenagers are human, while the others are trolls. There are five human females, five human males, five troll females, and five troll males. Their lives are miserable. They've never been outside, never felt the sun, never had fun besides talking to their fellow experiments. Most of their time is spent hooked up to a machine, foreign blood being forced into their system. They were taken from homes and hives, right after they were born, right after the egg clutches were laid. Snatched from families and lusii that would have most definitely loved and cared for them. But, that law wrongfully took them away and gave them to people who only thought of them as experiments.
