I was in my room doing my homework,  when my mom came in and started cursing me for no reason.

That's just how she is whenever she smokes her crack, This  nightmare has been going  on for about 7 years, When She lost her job and started stressing.
But she soon became addicted to  cocaine after a couple months.

She stared at me for a while,Then  she started yelling at me . " Jessica, al- all you do is eat and sleep around in this fucking house and be a dumb bitch that you are . I know I shoulda get rid a yo dumb as yo stupid bitch".As she said those last words, I just lost it. I got up and started cursing her out. But , I soon fell to the ground when she punched the shit outta me , I was wincing in pain and my jaw felt broken . But I soon got up and ran through the door in pain.

I began walking down the street with tears flowing from my eyes.
But I took the end of my shirt a wiped them away , cause I didn't wanna draw any attention to myself. It was about 6:30 , and I Decided that I wasn't gonna go back home, but then I thought to my self .Where would I go I'm just a lonely girl living here In  Atlanta , with no friends No family and no one who actually loves and cared about me . Then I shook my head.

I walked a little more down the streets and sat at the park benches for about an hour or  until I knew my mom was asleep.
I got a little sleepy so i decided that amma start walking. About 15minutes later I was  home. It was pitch black inside.  I walked in and saw my mom passed out on the couch with her high ass. I walked pass her and went to my room.

I took a quick shower and put on some comfortable short shorts , a huge t shirt and layed down in bed thinking to myself.  Why would a 16 yr have to go through all this pain. I ain did nothing wrong . I just layed there for about 5 mins , then I just drifted off to sleep.
