"Love, you have to do something for your birthday." Draco told me once again.

I sighed, looking back down at my homework. "Actually I don't. It's something that happens every year that we all make a big deal out off. It's just another year to remind us we survived another year."

"Stop ruining everything, party pooper." Draco said slouching into the couch.

"And, we have Quidditch practice, so there's not time." I reminded him.

"Then we won't go to Quidditch!' He exclaimed. "This is your second birthday with me, and I'm not letting it go to waste like last year so help me." He looked at me.

"You want to showcase, that I've survived another year, minus the fact I'm dating you." I said looking back at him. "And I don't like being the center of attention anyways."

"Lies. You love it, only when your not aware of it. And yes Potter and Granger didn't think you'd survive this long." Draco said.

"I just don't want a party. I don't have fond memories as a child." I stated. "Now I'm going to head up to my dorm." I started walking to the stairs and I heard Draco run to catch up with me.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry. But I promise I could make this birthday really good. Please just trust me." Draco said grabbing my hands looking at me.

"Fine. But I warned you." I said, he grabbed my cheeks and kissed me on the lips really fast.

"You won't be disappointed, I promise." He said and ran up to his dorm.

"This should be interesting." I mumbled to myself walking up the stairs to the dorm.

The morning of my birthday I woke up and it was calm. To calm, to be sharing a dorm with Parkinson.

"What the hell us going on?" I asked no one, sitting up. "It's to quiet." I climbed out of the bedroom and put my uniform on and headed to breakfast. It seemed as everyone ignored me in the halls. I know I'm slytherin, but really.

I opened the doors to the Great Hall and it was the same. 'What the bloody hell is going on?' I asked myself. I sat in my usual spot, but none of the usual people were there. I decided to just skip breakfast. I grabbed a muffin and headed back to the common room. Taking my time, since no one was going to care.

Where is everyone? Not even the trio said hi. Whatever, it's exactly what you wanted for your birthday (Y/N). No one to make a big deal out of it, but I didn't want to be ignored either. I sat on the couch in the common room waiting for the first class to begin. Did I just happen to make everyone made over night?

I grabbed my book bag and headed to divination. I questioned why I thought this would ever be a good idea as I walked up the stairs. Most of the class was spent talking amongst peers anyway. I entered the room and looked around. No one I knew or liked enough to sit with were in the room. I sat in the spot the slytherins normally sat and opened my book. A piece of paper fell out of it.

Love, just skip divination and come down to the kitchens.

Having nothing better to do, I picked up my stuff, class not starting yet, and walked out. While walking I thought about why I didn't like my birthday and all it took was one party.

"You stupid girl! Why would anyone come! You have no friends!" My mother yelled down at me, a seven year old wearing a pink dress and party hat.

"But momma, I sent out the invitations!" I said close to tears. "Please believe me."

"Why would I ever believe you! Your just a disappointment!" She yelled bringing her hand up. "I can't believe I ever had you!" She brought her hand down and hit me across the face. I held my cheeck and ran into my room.

"She's right... why would anyone ever like you."  I stayed in my room the rest if the day not thinking about anything else.

I was almost to the kitchen and didn't want to think about that anymore. I tickled the pear and the portrait swing open. I walked in and saw Hermione.

"Hey Mione." I smiled walking up to her.

"Happy Birthday (Y/N)." She smiled wrapping me in a hug. She let go of me and looked at me. "Here take this. Now I can get back to class. You know how much I hate missing it." She handed me a piece of paper and rushed out of the room.

You think I'd make it this easy? Come to Mrytles bathroom.

I'm going to kill this boy. I walked out of the kitchen and headed to Moaning Mrytles bathroom.

I walked in and heard Mrytle screech. "Who's there!?"

"It's just me Mrytle, (Y/N)." I said walking into her view.

"Oh, the blonde kid gave me something to give you." She said. "It's over there next to the sink."

I walked over to the sink where another piece of paper was.

You're probably just a tad pit mad right now... but just two more stops love. Just head to the courtyard.

Oh was he right. I was more than a tad pissed. My feet were hurting and I regret ed not getting more food at breakfast. Now I had to go outside.

"This assholes going to pay for this." I mumbled to myself walking out. I walked to the closest exit and walked to the courtyard. There stood Harry looking like he'd been out here a while.

"Took you long enough." Harry smiled. "Now here you go, it's just a bit cold out here." He handed me a note and headed inside. I opened the folded note and read.

You'll see me soon enough if you head to the Quidditch pitch.

Does he not understand how far that is and it's not even for practice. I headed out almost being stopped by Snape and I was nearing the pitch. I walked in through the girls changing room and outside. I looked out on the field and Draco stood there in the middle smirking holding something.

I walked out onto the field. "I hate you, I hope you know that." I laughed. I got closer to him and he wrapped me in a hug.

"You say that." He chuckled. He let go of me and we stood there facing each other, my arms crossed, him smirking.

"So, do you want to explain why you made me walk all over school?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well," He started looking up at the sky then back at me. "Since I didn't do anything last year and took your wishes into account, I made it so it's just you and me. I only asked your friends to help deliver the message."

"Look at you acting like an adult." I laughed holding on to his arms. "I wouldn't have this any other way Draco. Thank you."

"Wait hold up." He laughed. "Did I just hear you say thank you?"

"Yes, now stop acting suprised or you'll never hear it again." I smiled. "No will you just kiss me, it is my birthday after all."

"Anything for you." He said leaning down and connecting our lips. They moved slowly together and my arms went around his neck, his hands going to my waist. Maybe this birthday thing isn't bad after all.
