Thea's POV
I felt pain in my neck I knew he marked me. Why would he do that? I knew I could of died in peace knowing I found my parents, mate and other nice people. I was ready for death, why did he come back? why can't he leave me alone? I told Kyle not to tell him where I am. I look up to see Gabriel's blue eyes but they have darkened, oh no! His wolf has taken over.
"Gabriel?" I questioned
"No, it's James, Gabriel's wolf" He smirks
"Why have you taken over James"
"Well Gabriel hasn't been very truthful with you. I finally got through his wall he put up" I sit there confused, so he carries on.
"When Gabriel was a child, he always dreamed of his mate and how he would treat her. He was so passionate about everything and that day you died that part of him died to. He turned cold towards everyone. That day you found him kissing someone, she forced herself upon him. She kissed us first not the other way around. Gabriel needs you in life, he might not say or show it but he does. He's lost Jasmine, you need to find him and bring him back to you and Kyle. Kyle has been waiting since the age of 5/6 to have his brother back"
I took all the words in and processing them in my head. I understand why Gabriel turned the way he did he lost his mate and dad on the same day. It must be hard for some to function the same after that.
"I'll stay in his life but if he doesn't change I'm leaving you both okay" He nods his head
"That's all I ask for" I see Gabriel's eyes turn back to baby blue
"What did he say Jasmine" He demands and the way his says my name makes me shiver with pleasure.
"Nothing he said he just wanted to meet his mate" the look he gives I know he doesn't believe me
"Jasmine, you will be living with me. There will be no arguments about it, got it!" I nod my head in understanding
"Okay Jasmine, we leave in 2 days you will say goodbye to your family and pack"
"Okay" I say weakly
The next thing I know my eyelids are getting heavy, I suddenly feel tried. Before I fall asleep I hear words that broke my heart.
"I hope you can change me Jasmine, your my only hope"
I wake up with a start, I look around and notice I'm still in my hospital bed. I turn to my right and see my mother and father smiling at me. My mum nods her to my left side. I look and see Gabriel's head on my bed and he is sleeping deeply.
Why was Gabriel still here? I thought he would of left by now. Was he starting to care? or was it just his wolf making him stay? But then I remember his words from last night. "I hope you can change me Jasmine, your my only hope"
I reach over to Gabriel and tap his shoulder, he shots up and looks up at me.
"Gabriel go and take one of the guest rooms, and have a good sleep. My parents are here to take care of me" He nods to me
"Okay, I will be back to check up on you" I look up at him and smile then he leaves.
"Princess, how are you feeling" My daddy asks
"I'm doing just fine daddy" I say looking up at him
"Is there something you need to tell me Princess" I nod my head
"Gabriel's wolf spoke to me yesterday, and told me things and told me to give him a chance. I said I would but if Gabriel doesn't change his ways I would leave. Gabriel and I leave tomorrow for his pack" My daddy nods his processing the information.
"Princess, you do know that your the future Alpha of this pack, so that will mean you have to join our packs and choose where we settle" My daddy explains
"I'm not ready to be a Luna daddy"
"You are princess it will come natural to you, you'll be just like your mother. Beautiful, clever and a great leader" My mummy kisses my daddy
"I hope Gabriel and I become like you two" My daddy smiles
"You'll always be my princess" Tears start falling down my cheeks
"You'll be my main man daddy" Tears fall down his cheeks
"Love you princess"
"Love you mummy and daddy" I reply
My daddy let's my leave the hospital room, I make my way to the guest room I'm staying in. I twist the knob on the door and push it open and I see a peaceful Gabriel sleeping. I quietly make my way to my bathroom.
I start the shower and strip from my clothes. I step in the shower and let the water wash my body and hair. I shampoo and conditioner my hair, then wash my body. I switch the shower off step out and wrap a towel around my hair and body, I look around for clothes and forgot I didn't bring any clothes with me.
I open the bathroom door and notice Gabriel standing in front. I notice his eye colour change, he has a look of lust in his eyes.
"I'll leave, I will be in the kitchen if you need me" He says huskily. I nod in response
After getting change into black leggings and a baggy shirt. I decide to dry my hair and apply makeup. A bit of foundation, powder, eye-shadow, eyeliner and mascara with a bit of lip balm. I make my way downstairs to see Gabriel sitting at the breakfast bar eating a sandwich. One of the pack mum's come up to me and ask if I want a sandwich I nod my head yes.
"Glad to see you dress Jasmine" Gabriel says with a smirk
"Well, I wasn't going to come downstairs dressed in next to nothing was I" I say back with my own smirk
"Watch who you are talking to Jasmine" My smirk falls and a sad expression hits my face
I sit away from Gabriel at the dinning table and the pack mum brings my sandwich and eat that slowly, taking bite by bite. One of the pack members walk in and it was a boy that I have spoken to for the past two weeks.
"Hey Jasmine it's nice to see you looking well, you looked like sh*t before" He smirks
"Oi, thanks for that comment Justin. So nice you are"
"So how have you been anyway gorgeous" He sits next to me
"I'm fi---" Next thing I know Gabriel has Justin pushed up against the wall
"She is my mate not yours, don't ever call her gorgeous that's for me to do not you. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME" He shouts the last part
"Yes Alpha Gabriel" Justin says back but he's not afraid
"Gabriel put him DOWN NOW!" I scream at him
Gabriel drops him, Justin stands up and straightens his clothes out and hoofs before walking out.
"Don't you dare command me Jasmine" He seething at me
"Don't you dare hurt Justin like that" He look even more mad
"Your my mate not his I have a right Jasmine"
"His was here when I was dying Gabriel, you weren't okay" He looks beyond angry
"That's not fair Jasmine I didn't know who you were, you wouldn't let me find you. If you want Justin then have him. I'm leaving for my pack, don't you dare follow me" The way his voice breaks I know he is upset and he spoke quietly at me
I watch him leave me again not knowing if I will see him again. I will give him a day to calm down and then I will go back to his pack hopefully he will listen to me.
