Chapter 1: *Late Night Shift*

ELizabeth's POV

"So that's a peri-peri chicken for you?" I asked the middle-aged man ordering at Nandos the place I work.

"Yes and can I get that to go.?" He answered.

"Yeah, that'll be £24.21" I said setting the mans food in a to go bag.

He handed me a £25 and I give him change back. I watch as he leaves. I get the next person In line as he orders a large sized drink of tea. I walk to the back and get a refillable cup that has the logo "British Tea" on the side. I go to the machine with a dark like beverage in it. I fill the cup up and walk back to the counter where the person no longer stands.

Are you kidding me..... What's the point of coming in here and then waist if my time. I absolutely hate that. It's happened twice this week already, and they were two different people.

I take the cup and toss it in the trash making my way to the next customer. I get there order and watch as they leave.

"That's the last of em" I say.

My boss Danny comes up from the back.

"Thanks Elizabeth. You help alot and I never give you credit for it, I feel bad for not saying anything nice to you."

"Oh it's ok.... I mean you do pay me for everything I do"

"Yeah I guess, I'm can to close up for me tonight love.?"

"Yes absolutely.!"

"Thanks"

"Your welcome"

With no more hesitations he walks out the door leaving me by my self. I walk to the door lock it and start my cleaning. Yes after my shift is over I have to scrub the counter, tables and clean the floors. I walk to the back and get the cleaner ready in a five gallon bucket. I carry it back up front.

I grab my head phones out of my pocket and stick them in my ears, letting them fill with -Coldplay viva la vida- I grab my rag out of the bucket and slop it on the floor.

Nialls POV

I was sitting at the end of the couch and Zayn was sitting a few seats down on the other end. Harry was between us, while Liam and Louis sat on the chairs at each end of the couch.

We were watching -White Chicks- a movie we loved watching cause it made us laugh. When the movie ended I felt like going for a walk just up town. So I asked if the lads wanted to come also. Of corse they said yes cause they like night strolls. I mean I like night strolls to but that's just because when it's day time I get to hot if I walk. I don't know if that's the same reason that they don't walk during the day time but that's mine.

Anyway. We get ready and start heading out the door. When we walk down the street were like a gang. At least we know no one will harm us if we walk like this. But as always I'm kinda the fifth wheel, I'm at the back of the group walking by my self.

We make our way to a corner light and stop. The light takes forever to turn red so we can cross. Finally it turns red and make our way across the street. While walking down the sidewalk I notice that my favorite place to eat is at the end of the street were on.

But to bad it's closed otherwise I'd be all over that stuff right there.! Maybe I can still go check it out, or just casually walk by and stare through the windows. That seems a little creepish.

We make our way to the end of the street and to another stop light. Are you fucking kidding me.? As soon as it turns read we scurry across the walking line. At last we come to my favorite food place -Nandos-
