Chapter 31
Ariel's POV
Saturday.
I got ready for mine and Zayn's date today. I was actually getting really excited. I mean, it is our first date. I hope it goes perfectly. I sat on the sofa waiting for Zayn. He should have been here by now.
I slumped into the sofa, taking off my heels. Why isn't he here? I decided to call him. I slid my phone out of my clutch and dialed his number.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Where are you?" I asked, annoyingly. He should have been here an hour ago.
"I'm so sorry, babe. Something came up." He said, quickly.
"Really? What happened? Are you okay?" I ask. I feel like such a bitch now.
"Uhm, yeah. Safaa's sick. I went to get her some medicine. We'll go on our date another time, yeah?" He asks.
"Yeah, sure Zayn. I hope Safaa feels better." I frown, taking off my earrings.
" I Love you." He said.
"Love you, too." I say.
I feel so bad for Safaa. She's sick. I feel horrible. I can't help but feel guilty for being rude to Zayn. His little sister was sick and I was being a selfish bitch. The least I could do is go check up on her.
I grabbed my bag and coat and quickly left the house, making sure I locked the door. No one was home, as usual. The freezing cold air hit my face. I shivered. I started walking towards Zayn's house. This could take a while. I put my hands in my pockets, warming them up. It was freezing out. As I walked near their place, I smiled. Yes, I'm finally here.
I gently knocked on the door. I waited for someone to open the door. Doniya opened it, confusion written on her face. "Hi." I smile.
