Ella's POV:

"you don't know what's in store"

"Please, you have to come out tonight.  After all the shit you've recently gotten yourself into, you're gonna need something to forget it all." Becca sat on a small wooden chair arms behind her back, speaking as if I had failed a midterm or gotten myself into a scandalous affair with a politician, not 2,000 in debt with...well whatever TC was.

"No." Simple as that, or so I thought.

"Great, you have to wear that gold dress, it look delicious on you."  Rolling my eyes as far back as they allowed me to; I pivoted so my body was directly facing hers.

"No, Becca.  I have to figure out how to get myself out of this 'mess'." A small chuckle escaped her lips as her hand flipped her golden blonde hair over her shoulder.

"Do you really think TC would hurt you El? I mean I know he can be a little scary and definitely intimidating, but realistically what is he going to do to you?".  What wouldn't he do to me, was the first thing that popped up in my mind.

"I owe him 2,000 dollars.  Where am I supposed to get that kind of money?" Practically whisper shouting at her, with less emphasis on the whispering.

"Pick up some extra shifts at the restaurant...don't stress about it, you always figure something out." Looking over to her in disbelief, she shook her head as if to not even bother arguing with her and walked out of the small area I had pleasure in calling a kitchen.

This is unbelievably stupid; if those guys had just payed their money like they were supposed to I wouldn't be in any of this mess.  Actually why isn't TC going after them, I did whatever I was supposed to do.

"You know talking to yourself is a one way ticket to the looney bin right?" Jumping in my spot, my head whipped to the right to find a tall tattoo covered boy leaning arms crossed against the kitchen doorway.

"What the hell?" An uncanny smirk made it's way onto the boys face, and for a split second the resemblance to Harry was undeniable.

"You shouldn't leave your door unlocked." Pushing himself off the wall he took two steps towards me and my feet mirrored his with two steps back causing a low chuckle to fall from the unknown mans lips.

"How...w-who...why the fuck are you in my apartment?" I managed to splutter out.  My mind started to slowly panic with unreasonable thoughts as the situation sunk in; I didn't know who this man was and more importantly I had no idea what he wanted.

"My names Jay Ella." He took two steps forward and I took one step before my back hit the cold solid wall signaling I had nowhere else to go.

"From my understanding, I hear you've gotten yourself into a little...situation." A small gulp betrayed me as the man was now less than two inches away.

"I can help you Ella. I know you owe money to someone you don't want to owe money too." My body froze, palms getting sweaty.

"W-what?" Was all I could muster up.

"I have a few...things that need to be dealt with.  You love can help me, and in return for your services, I'll give you all the money you need."

"No, t-thanks."  I thought TC was absolutely frightening until I came face to face with this Jay guy.  The scar on his right eye, and his sinister gaze was alone enough to send me running cowardly away screaming bloody murder at the top of my lungs.

"Babe." He retorted, moving his body so he was completely hovering over me.  Taking my chin into his palms, two of his rough fingers gently slid down the side of my cheek, moving my hair behind my ear.
