Holy crap, i seriously forgot to update for about three or four weeks??

Either way, in case you didn't know, Justina had to delete her Wattpad, so she'll still get on this one occasionally, though I will be doing the majority of the updates. So, sorry for my forgetfulness.

Alayna's Perspective:

Who would have thought that on a seemingly normal day, we’d be at the hospital, because Garrett was sick… again. Come to think of it, hasn’t it happened this way already? He got hit in the head and then like a week later he was in the hospital for a concussion that we didn’t even know about, like a week before, he had supposedly gotten better because he had a flu or something (that I actually didn’t know anything about until Kenny told me a few seconds ago) and now we were here.

Maybe Chasity should know about this. I mean, it would have usually been Chasity who would have taken care of him in the first place; where was she?

I remembered seeing her yesterday, but not since then. And John had left to look for her an hour or so before…

“Kenny do you know where John is?” I nervously asked.

He shrugged “I haven’t seen him since he left to look for Chasity.”

Why did I even bother asking? God knows that boys don’t keep track of each other, and definitely don’t worry about them when they haven’t seen said person for a while.

Just then I saw Chasity sit down on the other side of the waiting room and she looked like she something huge just happened. Not only did she look terrified, and worried (which just might mean the same thing in this situation), but she looked really angry and lost. Almost like all the color has left her brown eyes.

Kenny leaned closer to me “You don’t think she knows about Garrett do you?”

I shook my head “I don’t see how she would, unless she was there when we brought him in, and we didn’t see her.”

“Should we tell her?”

“Well, wait a minute,” I said, my gaze was still on my distressed friend across the room “don’t you think we should ask her why she’s here?”(Besides all the red marks on her skin, and the bandages).

He shrugged…men.

I shook my head, getting up to go talk to Chasity myself “Then I’ll just ask myself.”

There were a million possibilities of why Chasity would be here, it could involve Jacki (dare I say, Pat would throw a huge tantrum at this, it would really upset him, and not to mention that she is my best friend’s sister), it could really involve anyone in her family, most likely.

When Chasity saw me, her expression turned from scared, to horrified (in the least mean way that can sound) “Alayna? W- what are you doing here?”

“I need to ask you the same question, but first,” I said, sitting in the empty chair beside her.

She looked down at the floor, I would have guessed that this would be hard to say, especially with the way she looked “Javier,” She started, pausing after like this was the hardest thing for her to say, like the name that just came out of her mouth burned the inside of her throat “tried—”

I sat there, trying to retain my patience, I would have been terrified if I were her, if I were little and saw my mother get shot by her boyfriend.

“—to kill me,” She finished.

I had heard that he had gotten out of prison, I wasn’t given all the details, but apparently he’s been in the area. So I did all that I could think to do: I hugged her.
