Cass walked as fast as she could not wanting to listen. "Ca Shi! Ca Shi-ah! Why won't you talk to me?" Cass didn't turn around as tears streamed down her cheeks. "Kang Ca Shi! How dare you disrespect your mother!" Anger bubbled inside Cass as she halted and slowly turned around.
"Mother? You? You were never a mother to me!" She screamed, "You left before I could even understand why! You will never be a mother to me!" Cass turned around again beginning to walk away. Her mum didn't follow and just stood there dumbfounded. Cass rounded the corner and crouched next to a tree as her tears continued to fall.
"Cass? Cass, where- oh! Why do you always run off, huh? Come on, let's go home. Cass..."
Cass didn't move as she felt arms wrap around her shoulders. She was comforted by the familiar scent.
