The darkened storm clouds gathered around her
The wind was blowing and the rain starting to fall
She finished climbing to the top of the hill
The hill she had been looking at for years
Wondering is she had the courage to climb it
She sat on the hill crest
Her chest was tight, her heart was heavy
Years of untold emotions
Wrapped like a tightly woven ball of string
Sat beside her
Inside her
She sat on the hill crest
And looked as far as her eye could see
Searching......for
Something, somebody, anybody, nobody
She sat on the hill crest
Waiting for the storm to take her
Secretly she prayed it would blow away all her worries

The wind began to howl
The rain began to pour
She sat on the hill crest
Her pain gathered around her
Her sobs turned into howls
Her tears poured into the rain
The tightly woven ball began to unwind
She sat on the hill crest
And looked as far as her eye could see
Searching for herself
The darkened storm clouds
Began to soften around her
The wind blew gently
And the rain melted into the ground
Her chest expanded and her heart felt light
She stood on the hill crest
And looked as far as her eye could see
Down the hill she began to walk
Leaving the river of unwoven emotions behind her
