Landon's pov
i slowed down at noahs apartment and texted him to come out
a few seconds later he walkes out of the building and hops in the front seat.
"so what really happened with M?" noah asks
i told him exacly the whole story and we pulled up her driveway.
he hop right out of the car as we sprint into the house.
We barg in and see em unconscious on the ground and the boyfriend gulping a beer watching tv.
we go up to him
"why the fuck is emma on the ground boy"
"Fuck i dont know, i gave her a good punch you know?"
i see innocent daisy sitting on the stairs crying. i dont want her to see her dad getting beat so i hinted Noah to go bring her up.
hes nods.
i grab daves collar and put him on the ground. i swing a few punches and give him a bloody broken nose.
i hear sirens, noah mustve called a ambulance for emma and a police for this fuck face.
a ambulance worker swings open the door along with 3 other workers they pick M up and then bring her to the van as police bring David out side and a lady walkd up to me and Noah .
" are you boys involved with the violence?"
No mam. i was with the victims daughter Daisy. " Noah spoke
" Yes, but i did not in anyway hit Em.I think i broke Davids nose though mam. " i say
" Thank you for being honest. We will be calling you both in the morning for more information surrounding the issure. For now you two shouldgo sleep. Where should we send Daisy?"
" She can come with me. " noah volunteers
" Ok its settled. Have a good nightboys and no trouble. " she greets away
We walk upstairs and get Daisy and some dresses for her since we dont know how long she will be out of the house.
We got ready and i drive Noah and Daisy to ns place, andi go home to bed, since its 5:30 am.
:morning:
i wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. i dont check caller id and just answer.
"Hi Lan" Noahs voice fills my ears.
"Hey... Whats up?"
"Ill pick you up in 30 mins and we can go vist Em. " he says
"How about you go and ill meet you there, i just woke up.
"Sure thing"
i hang up and get up and shower and do my normal routine.
Noahs pov
i get myself and Daisy ready, as it isnt weird because i used to babysit when M and David worked.
We go pick up a bouquet of flowers for M and we pull up to the hospital.
We go to the front desk with me holding Daisy.
" Hi mam, can we please see Emma Higgins? " i ask
" Family only, are you related?"
"Im a really good friemd abd her other brother will be here shortly, this is also her daughter Daisy. "
" well hello daisy, and her room is 213"
"thanks, have a good day"
We walk to her room, there are tubes every where. i start to tear up when i see her. she had a black eye, cuts all over, and bruses all over her neck and face.
i set the flowers on the side and i bring Daisy up to M. she gives her a kiss and then sits on a chair.
"Hi M". i say
no answer.
A docter walks in and smiles.
"Why isnt she fucking answering me?"
"Son, she got brain damage and shes in a coma. Are you the boy that caused this?"
my heart dropped when he spoke 'coma'. She may never wake up.
"Son?' the doctor repetes.
"ya, uh no.. i didnt cause this... i helped it and called 911. Im good friend, like brother. thats daisy her daughter". i point to daisy.
After a few mins Landon arrives.

The doctercomes back in.
" more test came in, i have good news and bads news."
"shot us with them " landon says
"ok, i guess i have two good things, the first is that she will be ok with minor brain damage, and second of all im glad she as friend like you. " he says
"Ok.. " i say
"im glad hecause shes pregnat, but... the baby suffered lots of trama and could get a disorder."
"Shes what?!!?" me and landon say at the same time
" shes 2 months prego" he repetes.
