Warning: Small spoiler I guess (?) from the manga if your not caught up. Its just that to me, everybody knows this but I know some people don't read the manga but I think its been said on the anime, I'm not sure since I stopped watching it a long time ago. But oh well. Another thing is lots and lots of cheesiness

**The Nerd and The popular**

Natsu was a nerd and Sting was a popular

One was unnoticed and the other was noticed by everyone.

Both guys

Different yet the same

And this is how the story goes

Sting was interested in Natsu, and Natsu may have had a tiny crush on Sting. So Sting did what any normal confident teenager would do when they have a crush on somebody: he asked him out.

His answer? No

"No?"

"Look I'll admit I do kinda like you but I'm not an idiot. Is not like I'll just say yes just like that. Especially to a popular. For all I know you might be playing me or just doing this for a bet or something, and I'm not going to fall for that. So, sorry but my answer is no"

Natsu started walking away, thinking that was the end of it but boy was he wrong.

"Fine then! I'll just have to show that I'm for real! I'll get that yes out of you Natsu Dragneel, you'll see!"

Natsu just scoffed and continued walking away

For a whole month, Natsu have been given flowers everywhere from random people but he knew it was from Sting. And at this point he was getting annoyed, up to the point where he yelled this to him in the middle of the hallway

"Let's get this straight Sting! I have a fucking penis not a vagina! So stop giving me flowers! And even if I WAS a girl, I still wouldn't accept them because

1) It's the most cliché thing EVER

2) I'M ALLERGIC TO FLOWERS YOU MORON SO STOP WITH THE FLOWERS!"

With that he left and when he registered everything he said, he hid in the library out of embarrassment

So, Sting stopped sending flowers. Instead, he started putting a new book in his locker every day.

"Books?"

"Yep! Natsu loves books so it was better than flowers plus, he put little notes on the books for Natsu to read"

"Aw~"

This continued for another month. Natsu's friends could see he was about to break but something was holding him back, no one knew what until one day Sting figured it out.

One of the rare days that Natsu went to the Cafeteria, Sting stood up in front of him on top of the table he was sitting on.

"NATSU DRAGNEEL WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?"

Natsu was definitely shocked to say the least. Sting just asked him out in front of the cafeteria! In PUBLIC! Didn't he know what this could do to his reputation?
