Dominique - Chapter 1

“Truth or Dare?” Drake said

“Well, I don’t feel like a dare, so truth” Trisha replied

“C’mon be adventurous” Brandon said

“Nahh, truth” she told him

“So, Trisha, who do you like?” he asked

“Well first off, all the boys have to leave”

“No you-”

“I won’t say who I like until you all leave”

“Fine, then” Justin said

“So, who do you like then, now that they’re all gone?” Ashley  asked

“Don’t go all critical on me girls, but, I really like superly duperly, adore.....Blake”

“Really?” all the girls shrieked

“Boys! You may come back in now!” one girl yelled

We all hushed when they came back in.

“Ok, Emilia, your turn-”

“Wait hold on a second,” Drake said

We all looked at him.

“For the rest of the time, doing this, nobody is allowed to leave the room”

“AND....” I pointed out, “What goes in the circle, stays in the circle, are we ALL clear”

“Yeah” everyone replied

“Anyways...Emilia, your turn!” I said

“Ok, Blake, truth or dare?

“Truth”

“Who do you like?”

I whispered to Emilia, “Nice one,” we both giggled

“Uh, God,” Blake said flipping his black, shaggy, and moppy, hair

“Well?” I asked

“Fine....Dominique”

“What?” we all said together

“oooooooooooo,” Brandon laughed pointing his finger at Blake

“There I said it!” he shouted somewhat angry

When Blake wasn’t looking, Brandon whispered in Trisha’s ear what name Blake had said and told her to “pass it on”. It went around the circle and Blake didn’t even know. When Emilia leaned over to tell me she whispered a couple things not only the name of the girl Blake liked but also something else.

“Supposedly, it’s Trisha, and I know for a fact it isn’t because how could Blake like Trisha?”

All I was thinking to myself at that point was ‘please don’t be asked who I like!”

“Dominique it’s your turn!” Justin yelled

“Ok?”

“Truth or Dare?”

“I’m feeling pretty adventurous....so I will go with Dare”

“Aw, well I don’t have a dare,”Justin replied, “Could you pick truth? Please?”

“Sure, why not, I mean your not going to ask the same question that has been asked already toooo much?”

“Sure, let’s go with that!”

“Fine,” I say, “ Truth...”

“Ok, well, pick the top two hottest dudes in the school then”

“Well your definitely not going to be on there,” I say, and everyone laughs

“Well, uh, I would have to say balkeandrake” I said it so fast and so soft, not a single person, including myself, could hear it.....thank God.”

“Ashley, your turn!” I yell

The night went on like this, everyone trying to not have anyone hear what they were saying yet it seemed like the only people who could not let anyone hear it was me and Blake (almost everyone). Everyone had gone home after about 11:00pm. Except for.......Blake. We were sitting outside my house waiting for his parents to come and pick him up. I had this swing kind of thing on the porch in the front of my house. We sat on it and swung back and forth, back and forth, watching our feet dangle from the seat. We were so en-juiced in our feet swaying back and forth that it turned out his parents had been waiting for about ten minutes until we actually noticed that they had come.

“I’ll see ya at school,”

“Ok,” I replied smiling

I don’t know what it was but there was something definitely up with Blake, I feel like he’s hiding something from me. Something, I should probably know.
