Chapter 8-Leadership positions

Niki's POV

Today was going to be a great day! we were having dour last school swimming lesson for the year which was a fun day and also we were finding out our leadership positions for next year in year 6. I sadly didn't get to do my speech for people to vote for me as house co captain or school co caption because I was sick. But I still was extremely excited to find out who got what position and what position I got.

When our head of school came into class to say who got what position everyone was on the edge of their seats wondering if they got the position they wanted. I didn't want to get my hoped up because like I said i didn't get to do my speech so it wasn't likely for me to get a Co Captain position. When my name finally came to place she announced my role for year 6. I was music Co Captain! everyone knows that I'm pretty much the most musically talented girl in the class so j think a few people already thought I was going to get that position.

When they finally read out Ella's name she got prep leader for semester one and art leader for semester two. I could here her say FUCK under her breatj. I could see she was disappointed. She really wanted to be Drama co captain she lit every bit of her speech about drama co captain she rawly wanted it. At the end of the day when me and Ella were both at home she called me on skype. I picked up and she was crying she really FRICKING wanted that position. We all got letters from the head of school thanking us for all of our effort and saying which role we got for year 6. And typical Ella was so sad and angry she ripped up that letter. To lighten the mood I said sometime I rip up pictures and try to make pictures out of it.

We both had to go at one point and I wished Ella a good night and hoped her the best for next year.
