I held on to the door knob for what felt like hours. I forgot what he looked like after all this time and vise verse?

I opened the door and a man was sleep on the bed, he had brown skin and a brown curly pony tail that swung over his shoulder, the TV was turned on to cartoon network.

"Is that him? " Nina pointed, i swatted her finger

"Yes baby don't point just lets sit down and wait for him to wake up" she nodded and we sat in the chairs against the wall and watched TV

FLASHBACK

"WHY DO YOU THINK THAT SHIT IS OKAY, YOU BRING A FUCKING BABY HERE AND DONT EVEN LOOK AT IT EXPECTING ME TO RAISE IT FOR YOU?" My moms screaming progressed she had been waiting for this for three months since he left

Although my father never ever hit my mother his words were the harshest, even my three year old ears, that couldn't even understand would tremble at his voice.

"SHE IS A FUCKING CRACK HEAD ELLA WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO GIVE HIM UP FOR ADOPTION, SOME TIMES YOU ACT LIKE A STUPID FUCKING BITCH" i could hear the stairs creak

"FUCK YOU RO I HATE YOU AND I WISH I NEVER MET YOU" you could hear her running upstairs  behind him

"WELL IF I NEVER MET YOU MY LIFE WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER" he ran back down stairs and you could hear the door slam breaking the glass on the door

She came intomy room and scooped me up.

"I know you heard that peanut,  its going to get better for us be we gotta leave" i felt her body shaking

Flash back

"If you missed three birthday's that means you have to give me  three hundred  dollars" i heard Nina say as i woke up

She was sitting on his lap, as i once did, talking her head off and he was just nodded away.

"Dad?" he looked over to me and Nina hopped out his lap and he walked slowly over to me, he looked so healthy. I gave him a big squeezed and he wrapped his arms across my back.

"I'm so so glad you came" he muffled in my neck

When we pulled away he had tears in his green eyes. He walked over to his bed with a much faster pace.

"Your mom didnt tell me she had another daughter" he chuckled and looked at her flipping through channels, he put his hand on the side of his mouth "She's a talker" he whispered

I smiled  "She's my daughter, dad"

He put his hand on his chest "Well excuse me....... you know, she looks like you did at that age" i looked at her and nodded

The door cracked open reliving that nurse from the front desk with three kids, two girls and one boy they all look the same age. She opened the door and the kids came jumping next to my dad.

She sat down next to me "I'm Deja, your sister" she stuck out her hand I'm guessing for me to shake, i put on a  fake smile and toke her hand

"Im Ny'Ome your sister i guess" i looked to the side of me to see Nina already playing Barbie's with the girls

"These are my kids Christina" she tapped the girl with two puff balls and a white sundress "Christian and Kristin" she tapped the boys shoulder and the girl with hair her thick hair down

"This is my daughter Nina.  Are they triplets? " she smiled at me 
and nodded

"Yes, identical and all three of them will be four next month"
