Sick (Japan x Sick!Reader)

You sat up and coughed violently. "Please let me take you to the hospital, ______." Kiku asked with worry.

"It's only a small cold, I'm fine." You said with a stuffy voice.

"At least drink the sports drink I got for you. You must hydrate when you have a fever." He insisted, handing you a blue drink.

You sat up and took a sip. "Thank you for staying over to take care of me. You really didn't have too."

"And not tend to my sick g-girlfriend? What kind of person would I be if I didn't?" He pouted.

You smiled. He was still a bit nervous to use the term girlfriend, and it was adorable. "Anyways, it's really sweet of you." He nodded and took a seat next to you.

A movie was put in as you sat there waiting for the medicine to kick in. A chill came over you and you shivered. You moved over and snuggled into Kiku for warmth.

You could feel him tense, but slowly he relaxed and put his head on yours. You smiled to yourself and sniffled, latching onto his arm.

The movie began to play and slowly the medicine kicked in and took away some of the symptoms, but then left you feeling drowsy.

"I'm sleepy..." You muttered to get Kiku's attention, starting to feel lazy with your head on his shoulder.

"You can't sleep in here, it's bad for your joints." He protested.

Since you were already sleepy softly, he picked you up gently. He walked carefully over to your room, wondering if it was okay to enter a girl's room even though your his girlfriend. Eventually he convinced himself to go in. Kiku placed you on the bed and tucked you in.

"Thank you Kiku..." you muttered, sleepy.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" He asked with regret.

Still with eyes closed you answered with a giggle. "No, I just pretended so I didn't have to walk."

He laughed softly a bit. Surprisingly, he gathered the courage and kissed you on the forehead for a few seconds. He ran out of the room with pink cheeks, only to  leave you with a sleepy smile on your face as you drifted off.

Guess who's not dead? This piece of trash, who would have guessed. Hopefully this doesn't suck like the last one I did haha.

Sorry about the whole not accent thing. That's one of my favorite parts of reading any one shots with Kiku, but I'm not risking screwing it up.

I literally finished this at 5:44am in the morning as I was getting ready for school. I don't know if that proves how sad my life is or how great I am at multitasking.
