it was around 1:30 am and jeon jungkook, a college dropout, was out hunting for pokemon on foot. he never really worried about weird people setting up lures in like a shady alleyway, he was smarter than that. even for a dropout. what he was worried about was on his radar was a lapras, a pretty rare find in the game.
"oh man, holy shit.." **

park jimin, a part-timer waiter, however, took a different way, and simply drove around. not only is it faster but it's much safer! and he was always worried about lures set up in bumfuck nowhere, and always avoided them. when he noticed the shaded out shape on his radar he squealed and stopped his car, trying to find the direction the pokemon was in.
jungkook, however was already headed in the direction and had an exact picture of where it was. following his instinct, he aimlessly walked into the middle of the road, without looking.
jimin's car slowly crept foreword, his eyes on his screen instead of the road. he didn't think any idiot would just walk into the street anyways, he was wrong however.
looking up momentarily, he saw a figure ahead, who as well was staring at their screen.
"hey, man-"
his phone vibrated, and the once shaded figure appeared in color on his map. he was so excited, and started immediately engaging in battle.
jungkook seemed less excited, but nonetheless attempted to capture it. he remained standing just a few inches from the front of the car. to his dismay, the lapras poofed..
jimin however, in just a few ultra ball throws, he caught the water type pokemon. he jumped for joy. looking up and seeing the disappointed look on the other's features.
"hah, loser i got it."

jimin teased, as the other male drew closer and stood behind the driver door. the window was rolled down because of the warm-ish summer night. jungkook smirked, looking at jimin's screen.

"jokes on you, loser, i already have one, and it's stronger than yours."
