**Tre' in the m/m.**

Nihzoni
Slowly copying down an equation from my algebra book I let out a deep sigh. Truthfully, I just  wanted to be around Caine. I understand all the work, if I didn't have to show my work I would've wrote the corrosponding question answer with its number. There are fifteen questions with long ass steps, more than half of them. Because we are working alone the moment the door opened I'm sure like me everybody else looked up to see rst gwho was coming through the door. Off first glance I didn't recongize his face, but he is fine as hell.

"May I help you?" Mrs Jacobs smiled at him as he neared her desk.

"Yeah, uh I'm the new student." He extended his hand that held a piece of paper.

She took it and looked it over, her smile never leaves her lips. When it did it always reappeared within a blink of an eye.. "Alright, Tre'. Take a seat next to Nihzoni. Can you please raise your hand Nihzoni." She beamed brightly; I don't know why she's so fond of me, but its okay she makes this class a bit easier. Half heartedly raising my hand our eyes met as he strolled on over. Mrs. Jacobs came over and handed him back his piece of paper. "Nihzoni, you don't mind being Tre's student guide do you?" She inquired in such a sweet way I couldn't dare say no to, and she knew it.

"Not at all." I took the all day pass she slid to me.

Mrs. Jacobs got him a book and explained to him what we're doing. "Can I see your schedule?" I turned to him shlyly.

"Sure thing." He picked it up and handed it on over. Quickly glancing I noticed what classes we have together. Math, English, Gym, and Home Economics.

"Looks like we have the rest of our classes together." I informed passing him back his schedule. Until the end of class Mrs. Jacobs allowed him and I to work on the assignment together. When the bell rang Tre' and I  continued small talk and I found out he's from Virgina. He also has a sister that goes here, she's a grade or two under us. Surprisngly he's very easy to talk to. On our way to English I'm not one hundred percent certain, but I think he noticed the eyes following us, from the girls droolin over him. Can't say I blame them honestly. He's different from the guys we usually see around here. His swag is just so mean like homie knows he got the sauce. "Nih!" Bee called for me making us both stop in our tracks as she jogged to catch up.

"Wassup Bee?" I inquired as she glanced between Tre' and myself — oh gracious.

"Yeah , uh your boyfriend wanted me to ask you what did you want for lunch." The moment she emphasized boyfriend she glanced side ways at Tre'.

"Truthfully I don't care. If he's going to a burger place — double cheese burger and fries with a sprite. Mexican food he already knows what I like. Oh, Bee this is Tre'. Tre' this is my girl Beautiful," I introduced the two and they shook hands. "He's new and I'm his student guide." I explained because she was already giving me that look.

"Alright, I'll tell him." She smiled giving a quick wave before going to her class.
"You not going to get in trouble are you?" He smirked with a lick of his lips.

"No, I'm not doing anything wrong." Caine doesn't seem like the jealous type — then again I really don't know, but we will see.
English was boring as usual so in between talking to Tre' I managed to finish my work. I couldn't wait for luch to roll around because I'm starving. Caine left ten minutes before lunch to go get our food so while Bee sat at our table I walked through the line with Tre' to kind of explain the way it goes in there. Today they're having chilli cheese dogs and chips. Not my favorite, but whatever. After he had his fod I showed him the consession stand that happened to be closed, which is why the lunch line is so long. Bee saw us coming letting a small smile come across her lips. Either she knows something or like every other girl she's drooling over Tre', which would be interesting.

"Are you mixed or all black?" She iquired turning to him with narrow eyes.

"Black and Indian." He returned the smirk; I can see the dots connecting, oooh shit!

"What's goin on?" Caine took his seat beside me, him and Tre''s eyes finally meeting.

"Babe this is Tre'. Tre' this is my boyfriend Red. Babe he's a new student and I'm his student guide." I explained, but it didn't seem to mater because they're still sizing each other up. Caine only gave a head nod. People who aren't close to him can't call him Caine. Its Red to them and if they attempt to step out that box he won't hesitate to put them back in that box and seal it with bolts and super glue. He sat close to me, but didn't put his arm around me like he usually does. It was a bit awkward, but we finished our lunch in small talk. Before we went our separate ways Caine pulled me aside to the corridor right off the gym. His demeanor seemed off and I don't really understand the mood swing.

"What's going on with you?" I frowned searching his eyes for somewhat of a answer.

"Nothing, I'ma head out because I have some stuff I have to do. I'f I'm not out there by 2:45 you and Bee walk to her spot," I nodded, but kept looking at him. "Tink I'm fine," He paused to peck my lips softly. "Stop stressing. Go on to class and I'll see you later." He cooed making a smile come across my lips.

"You promise you're okay?" I asked one more time just to be sure.

"Yes, I'm sure. The longer it takes me to leave the longer its going to take for me to get back to you." He teased in a sing-a-long tone.

"Fine, go so you can hurry back to me." I wrapped my arms around him once more tightly then let him go on about his business. Stepping through the door I noticed Tre' leaning against the wall by the cafeteria doors, "You didn't go to class?" I questioned and he chuckled.

"I don't know how to get there and I wanted to make sure you was good. Are you? Ya mans seemed big mad at my presence." He commented as we headed up the stairs. I'm assuming the bell rang because the hall was basically empty.
"Sorry I forgot, and thanks I'm good. He wouldn't hurt me in that way. I wouldn't say he was mad, haha. He's just protective of his people." I defended. if Caine was truly upset I don't think Tre' would've continued sitting there. I never noticed before but his boys were in the lunch rom ready if things popped off.

"No problem, as long as he ain't putting hands on you we have no problems." He stated and I just kind of looked at him.

"What?"

"You sound very protective of me already."

"I probably am. I'm sorry if that came off in the wrong way. I can just tell you've been through something."

I started to become self conscious. How can he tell by looking at me if I've been through something or not.

"I hope you didn't take offence to that. That's the last I'd ever want to do. I'm sorry if I did offend you though." He apologized; I guess I was quiet for a moment too long. "No, no need. You're fine." I smiled softly ridding my brain of the thoughts of mister.

____

Two forty-five rolled around and no Caine. So me and Beautiful began walking to her house. I had some extra money left over so Bee and I stopped at Subway to get something to eat. "Did that bitch give you anymore trouble while I was out?" She questioned taking a sip of her pop.

"Nope. Didn't see her anymore since honestly." A chuckle left my lips as I thought about it. I really haven't seen her, I think I've seen her friends, but not her. Maybe she got suspended too. Bee looked over her shoulder for the third time and I looked back to see what she was looking at but saw nothing.

"Hey come with me in here really quick. I want to see if they have this conditioner cheaper here or the hair store." Bee grabbed my hand practically dragging me into Walgreens.

"Bee, slow down! What's the rush?" I questioned. She didn't speak until we got inside and all the way to the far back on the right by the cosmetics.

"There is a black SUV following us and I think a guy is following us too," she peeked in the side of me holding a bottle of conditioner as if she was looking at the ingredients. "Okay the man is following us. He just came inside. Nih don't look and try to stay calm we have to make a run for it, okay?" What the hell does she mean by don't freak out.

Yeah like strange men follow us in trucks all the time!

"Ima just get it at the hair store. C'mon," she took my hand and led me somewhat out the door. "Listen when we pass these tracks we're going to walk behind that restaurant and hauling ass and duck into the pizza place." She spoke as she typed onto her phone.

"Okay," I breathed. "We should call Caine." I gasped.

"I just texted him. So he's going to be calling in three...two..one." She snapped and on cue my phone rang.

"Nih, listen I'm on my way there, Okay?" Out of habit I nodded as if we were on FaceTime.

"Okay..." I tried to breath as calmly as I could.

"Don't be scared. Bee ain't gonna let shit happen to you and I damn sure ain't going to let anything happen to you. I got you Tink. I'll be there in like five minutes."

"Okay, and I know you got me...just hurry okay."

"Fa'sho." We ended the call as Bee and I began to cross the tracks. After the tracks is a bar then it's parking lot and the restaurant that closes at 3pm. I guess that's why we're walking around it instead of through it.

"Okay, we got a good lead on him. Ready?" she glanced back quickly at him then at me. I let out a breath and tucked my phone into my bag before I gave her a nod. "On three. One...two...three, go!" Once she said three maaaan we booked it around the building and down the alley to the pizza place, entering the carry out section then through the service door to the main restaurant. From there we went out the front door and across the busy street to a salon. I'm assuming Bee is a regular because everyone somewhat greeted her as we rushed in. Well not greeted they wondered why the hell were we running in the salon like that.

"Listen I can't chat right now. We have to hide until Caine gets here. Shauna can we go to the back?" Bee breathed harshly with her hands on her knees as she tried taking deep breaths.

"Yeah, come on." she waved and ushered us to the back.

Bee still breathing harshly as she tried to catch her breath swiped a unopened water bottle from the fridge in the back.

"What in the hell are y'all running from?" The medium brown skin lady that Bee called Shauna inquired looking between Bee and I.

"It's a long story and not mine to tell. I promise it's no petty bullshit," Bee's jagged breath had begun to smooth out. "Our lives were in danger,"

Before Shauna's could fix her mouth to respond Bee's phone interrupted.

"Hello? Yes, we're fine. Okay, here we come," Bee spoke briefly then hung up then looked at me. "He's here. Shauna we have to go I'll call you later." They shared a hug before we went on and left. Leading me out the back door my eyes fell on Caine's Charger instantly rushing over. I didn't make it half way to him before I realized I was wrapped into his arms. Once again I felt safe like I was in this impenetrable bubble and nothing could break.

"Its okay Tink. I got you..."
