"Run Ana! Run as fast as you can!" I scream as I grab Ana's hand. "I can't!" she yells. Wait. Let me go back to the beginning..... Hi. My name is Alena Williams. I am 16 years old and a sophomore is high school. My best friend's name is Ana Sacramento who is also a sophomore in high school. We have been best friends since we were 2 years old. And we have lived right across the street from each other since before we were even born. One day, Ana wasn't at school. I called her phone, but there was no answer. Then, I called her house and her mom said she hadn't seen Ana since she drove to school that morning. So I kept on searching. I walked up and down the streets of our neighborhood until, finally, I heard sobs coming from behind the hedges the marks the end of our neighborhood. I ran over as fast as I could and I called out for Ana. I screamed "Ana! Where are you?" But there was no reply. After I got over to the hedges, I see poor, helpless Ana sitting on the ground with tears of mascara running down the sides of her face frantically. I knelt down beside her wondering what had happened that could have made her cry so hard. "Ana! What happened? Did someone hurt you? What is going on?!" I said in sort of a panicky way.
