Chapter 3

Last Chapter: Just as Chloe was about to leave, Felix and Zachary dumped their lunch on her. Juice seeped down into her shirt and spaghetti was mixed into her hair. The twins laughed, holding their sides and I got up with my lunch tray. All three of them looked at me, surprised, as I dumped the rest of my lunch on Chloe as well.

“Ugh!” Chloe shrieked, before stalking off. “You’ll regret this, bitch!”

Me and the twins just laughed holding our stomach and I’m sure we looked like utter lunatics. But as I looked at the two brunettes beside me, my guard finally fell down.

“Hey! Caroline!” The twins greeted me.

“Do you guys always have to be so loud?” I questioned.

“It’s what we do baby, it’s what we do,” said Felix, wiggling his eyebrows.

“Wait, I thought our thing was eating nachos?” Zachary said.

“Well, we can have more than one thing, right?” Felix replied.

“I guess, but I think nachos are number one.”

“I think chilli cheese fries are better.”

“NO! Shun the non-believer!”

It’s been a week since we’ve officially become friends and I got to say it’s been fun. Their care-free nature has made me feel much better, since Helen and Camilla left me. Of course, I’m still very upset, I mean they’ve been friends with me for so long, but Felix and Zachary have taken away the loneliness and I’m grateful to them.

“Caroline? Hello, in anyone in there?” Zachary said tapping my head with his fist.

“Oh, sorry,” I said, smiling. “What did you say?”

“What do you think is better nachos or chilli cheese fries?” Felix asks, before whispering in my ear “The answer is chilli cheese fries.”

“Hey! That’s cheating!”

I giggled and they looked at me with that Cheshire cat smile on their faces.

“So which is it,” Felix asked.

“I think… Tacos are the best!” I grinned.

“Oh my God! She’s a genius!” The twins said together with surprised expressions on their faces.

I giggled “It’s what I do baby, it’s what I do.” I said.

“Hey that’s my line!” Felix pouted.

“Too bad!” I said, sticking my tongue out.

“Oh! Caroline! It’s your birthday today, right?” Zachary asked. Felix hit him on his head.

“Why did you even ask her that?” Felix said.

“Owww.” Zachary moaned.

“Yeah, it’s my birthday, why shouldn’t he ask.” I said, suspiciously.

“Um, uh…” Zachary said shifting his eyes from me to his brother. Felix sighed.

“Ok, I guess we should tell her-…” Felix started saying.

“What are you saying?” Zachary interrupted him, fiercely

“It’s time she knew.”

“Felix, don’t!”
