"Cori! Sweety, I know you don't want to go to school but please, just come downstairs!" My mom called from the kitchen, from the smell of it, she was making me breakfast. I popped my head around the corner of the stairway, my long white hair falling to my waist, my tail wagging and my ears perked. I took a long deep breath and sighed.
"Bacon." I moaned, my fanged mouth watering and my mind racing, trying to find a way to snatch the bacon without my mom noticing so that I could get out of school. I stared at couch, ready to start my master plan:
Phase One: Distract my mom by pushing the couch, making a loud noise.
Phase Two: Sneak up behind her and snatch all the bacon without being seen.
Phase Three: Stealthy sprint upstairs with my reward.
I heaved and pushed the grey leather couch with all my might, my couch was the type that looked like a normal couch and then also took up another wall, it was like half a hollow square. My enhanced hearing picked up my mom's movement, away from the plate of bacon. I took the opportunity and sprinted, to the normal eye, you would pretty much see a plate of bacon, a flash, and now there's no more bacon. I really liked my bacon.
Just as I made it to the stairs, I felt a large tug on my tail and I immediately yelped in pain.
"AGH!" I screamed in pain, I turned around to see my mom scowling at me, her hand with a tight hold on my tail.
"Going somewhere?" My mom asked, "Give me the bacon." I gave her all of my bacon besides a few pieces that I kept to myself.
"I'm sorry!" I cried, "But please! Don't make me go to school!" I began to run my hands through my hair like I did when I'm nervous.
"Stop freaking out, you're sixteen." My mom scolded, "You're going to go to school Corsac, It's important."
I flinched, my mom only said my real name when she was really mad.
"Your book bags by the door, are you packed?" My mom asked, I was attending a boarding school and I'd heard that they had amazing dorms so applied, I would be rooming with someone but the dorms were supposedly like a three room house and the bedrooms were supposed to be huge.
"Yeah, I'm packed, just nervous is all." I said, stuffing bacon in my mouth and walking upstairs to get my bags. I was taking my car and my mom was taking hers, I wanted to have my car at the school, I was also sneaking in my pet fox, she's a Corsac fox and her name is Snow.
I packed everything up in my car, put on my white beanie, and changed into a pair of pants that didn't have a hole for my tail. I winced in pain, it wasn't exactly comfortable to have my tail tucked in my pants.
