It's been about a month since me and Justin graduated together. He was our class's valedictorian.... Nerd. But don't get excited because he's my nerd. Anyway, its been almost two years since the night "The bra started it all" and Justin and I were as close as ever, the "I love you" never faded, and it never became a "habit" you could see it in our eyes when we told each other those special words. So its 4th of July weekend and everyone is preparing for the biggest holiday of the summer, buying barbecue, putting out flags, buying sparklers, and whatnot. Little did I know, Justin had a little more in mind than a kiss and a cute picture under the fireworks this year. Him and my family conspired something much more magical than I would have imagined.

Its 4th of July night and we, Justin, my family and I, were heading down to the riverside with our lawn chairs and our blankets to watch the spectacular fireworks frenzy of colors and sounds. We sat down and watched the whole show, pointing out our favorite types, colors, and shapes of the fireworks. It was drawing close to the grand finale, and out of nowhere, Justin stands me up. He sees the confusion in my face and he smiles. He gets down on one knee and says "Alex, I've always loved you, I've loved you since the day we stood in that ditch and we just stared and laughed at each other for how silly you'd been to let your bra fly out the window. I knew it, it was in your eyes, you were going to be mine." My eyes started tearing up as he pulled a little case out of his pocket, as he opened it, it showed the most beautiful ring, Justin knows that I like unique things. He custom made a ring with a royal blue sapphire in the place of a diamond. I was in love. In a moment later,  he said those very special words "Alex, will you marry me?" A tear ran down my cheek as I covered my mouth and nodded yes. I pulled him to his feet and I kissed him. I kissed him more passionately than I had ever kissed him before. I would be this mans wife, and you can bet that I wrote everything about this night, down.
