The True Middle School Story!

Meet the characters!!!

Let's start with Maclyn Carter. She hates her full name so she goes by Mac. Mac is a little rebel. She loves the rules, but only when they are fare. She loves learning, school, the colors black and red, reading, and writing. Her hobbies consist of skateboarding, drawing, writing poetry, and sleeping. She is a good singer but refuses to sing often. Mac is 14 years old and is in 8th grade. She hates walking to school but she has to. Her roommate is Maddie Lightwood. Yes, they are only in middle school, but they are orphans. They both live in Ms. Millies Orphanage on the corner of 2nd and 4th Street. Mac hates it there. That's why she loves going to school and not coming back 'till later that night.

Let's give you a little back ground of little Maclyn Carter. When she was just a child, about 1 month old, her dad ran away never to be found to this day. But her mom tried to raise her without him. Ms.Carter then realized that that wasn't possible because she was sick and couldn't afford to pay for her child, Maclyn, and her treatment so she decided that her health was more important. She left Maclyn on the porch of Ms. Millies Orphanage, on the day of October 25, 2002, next to another child. Ms. Carter died shortly after because the treatment was too harsh. When Ms. Millie answered the door to see the baby, there was no note, just a baby who was lying in the basket sleeping. Next to her was another baby named Maddie Lightwood. That's when Ms. Millie knew they were destined to be besties.

Next is Maddie Lightwood. Maddie is short for Madison, but you can call her either. She is a rule follower and gets straight A's. Her hobbies are dancing, singing, reading, and helping around the school and orphanage. She is 13, almost 14, and in 8th grade,( her birthday is later in the year.) Her best friend is Mac and they have been together since they were babys. Maddie's mom died giving birth to her and her dad committed suicide a month later. Mad's was taken to the orphanage and has been there since.

Crushes and guy friends!

James: Maddie has liked James since they were partners in a project in first grade. James has beach blond hair and bright blue eyes. He is on the Cross-Country team and has all Honor classes. All the girls swoon when he walks by and hopes they catch his attention. Maddie can only hope he notices her and falls in love. James does have flaws though even if he is perfect.

Brandon: Mac has had a crush on Brandon since they first met in writing class in 3rd grade. He is the  schools believed bad-boy but he's too kind to be bad. From his dark black hair to his piercing gray eyes, you can't help but fall for this hottie. He is known for liking  girls and breaking unfair rules, but Mac believes nobody can be that bad and that he could be a real sweetheart. She has mixed feelings about him, but knows they will always be friends. There's someone else on her mind...

Odeon: Maddie and Macs best friend is awesome. He loves hanging with them and giving them advise. He has gone through all there break ups and they have gone through his. He has been their friend since they started school. They will continue to go through all there adventures with him and he will have them on his side's through his adventures.
