I opened my eyes wishing that the first day of school would be normal. I just wanted things to go as planned, I would spend time with my best friend Jane and hopefully make new friends. Of course, I need to focus on my studies, because my parents have high expectations from me, I have to get straight As in every subject.
I got out of bed this morning, and I got dressed. I wanted to wear something nice; nothing too fancy. I wore a cute pink shirt and blue jeans, I brushed my hair and put a little lip gloss. Five minutes later, the bus arrived and I walked inside. I found an empty seat next to Louis. He was one of my friends, I find him friendly and funny, but we don't talk to each other a lot. "Hi Sydney," Louis said. "Hey Louis." I answered him politely. We chatted a little about school and he started saying some lame jokes, and for some reason, I actually started laughing. "I always find a way to make you laugh," he said with a smile. I nodded and blushed. I can't deny the fact that I have a crush on Louis, and since he's single, I'm always hoping that he will ask me out.
We got to school and I got my Math book from my locker. "Sydney!!" I heard my best friend yell. I looked behind me. "Jane, I'm so happy to see you!" I told her as we hugged. "This year is gonna be so fun Sydney," she said as she smiled. "Why is that?" I asked. "Harry Styles is in our class! They say that he always finds a way to make fun of the teachers, joke around and his class always ends up having a great year." She said. I just sighed and ignored that comment. "Plus he's so sexy" she added. "Jane, that doesn't matter. Date a guy that's sweet, romantic, smart-" I said when I got interrupted. "You ladies talking about me?" Said some tall curly haired guy with a smirk. "Hi Harry!" Jane said as she laughed to his rude comment. "Um. Hi girl I don't know." He said. He was good-looking but he was really rude. He stared at me and our eyes met. "What is it pretty face? Busy admiring me?" He said with a smirk. I sighed. "Come on babe, lemme take you to Starbucks and we can skip class a little." He continued. "I don't know about you, but I'm polite, responsible, and I want to get in a good university." I said. "Yup. You're a nerd I suppose." I didn't answer him and just frowned. "Nothing to worry about babe, even though you're a nerd, you're pretty, and don't worry, you can date the sexy Hazza" He said as he winked at me. "Ugh. I would never date a guy like you." I said as I entered the classroom. "Playing hard-to-get, I see. Well babe you'll be mine soon, you'll see!" He said.
I sat down and tried to forget about what happened. That guy is such a rude jerk, and I'm not happy at all that he's in our class this year. But at least I have Louis, and I decided that this year, I have to tell him that I like him. "Hey Sydney, can I sit next to you?" Louis asked me. I nodded and blushed. "I forgot my pencil, can I borrow one of yours?" He asked. I nodded again and gave him a pencil; as our hands touched, I felt some sort of electricity inside me. "Hello students, my name is Sarah and I will be your math teacher this year." our teacher said. She gave us some work to do and the period ended very slowly, although I enjoyed it, because Louis was next to me, and Harry was behind me, but he wasn't saying anything.
The bell rang and I went back to my locker, when I noticed that Louis was following me. "Umm.. S-sydney?" He said. "Yes?" I answered. "I wanted to um.. to ask you something. I really like you and umm.. wi-will you go out-" he said when he got interrupted. "Hey there Sydney, can I show you something? It's kind of important." Harry said as I sighed. "Fine." I followed Harry, until he stopped under a big tree.
"Look Sydney, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was acting like a jerk. And a girl like you doesn't deserve this treatment. I'm what you call a "bad boy", but I'm very sorry." Harry said politely.
