🌙Tuxedo waiters, black ties, White tablecloths and red wine, We've been plannin' this night, Lookin' forward to it for some time.🌙

"What have I done in my life to deserve such torture." Erick groans, he's been complaining about attending this engagement party, dressed in a tuxedo. He's not a tuxedo guy.
Although he doesn't like them he looks good in it, his dreads are in a ponytail, and he's wearing a proper amount of perfume, if I didn't personally know him, I wouldn't recognize him like this.
"Erick, for fucks sake stop complaining, this isn't even work, you always tell me too loosen up and have some fun, take your own advice." I roll my eyes at him.
We're attending one of our high school friend's engagement party, it's really sweet that he didn't forget us after all these years, we were best friends back then. But the irony is that he's getting engaged to our boss's daughter. That's why it feels like work for Erick, for me too if I'm being honest.
"Fine, I'll find some hot chick to take home. Maybe you should do that too."
"Erick," I whine, "by having fun I didn't mean for you to bang some random girl, plus this is not a club where you'd find random girls here, just drink some more or talk to our other friends or whatever, just stop whining, jeez." I'm tired of him.
"Ugh, fine. But I'll leave soon." I refuse to respond to him, I just huff and take a sip of my drink.
It is dead boring, but I won't complain because Erick seems to do enough of that for the both of us.
"Yo, Malik, look at them," he points at the future married couple, "They look like sibling."
I chuckle at that. Because they truly look like siblings, "white people."
"You're still half a cracker, jackass." I resist the argue to groan. Ugh, not again.
"Fuck off." I push his shoulder with little to no force.
"You love me- Is that Jason?! Be right back, bro." And there he goes.
I sigh and look around, everyone around me looks as fancy as ever, the party is arranged in this grand hotel garden, I keep looking around, the sun sank lower in the sky, light of day is draining away, giving way to the velvety dark of night, crickets chirping, dusky, colors subdued in the fading light, first buzz of mosquitoes.
overall it was beautiful and quiet..till Erick decided that it's a good idea to take over the DJ and play some house music.
Everyone was screaming like crazy, their feet are disturbing the ground around me. Without looking, Their bodies moved together as they celebrated, rhythmically breaking into shapes and colors.
Erick's smile extends towards me, attempting to turn my face from what, from who, I was focused on.
There stood Jazlynn, as gorgeous as ever, she's wearing a deep V neck, black dress, with craship ends. her blond hair is loose wavy, her makeup is simple, soft smokey eyes and red lips.
