I darted to my room as fast as I could and slammed the door with a thud.
I started packing my stuff, I carefully stumbled out the window and finally landed on the firm ground beneath.
I couldn't stay in a place like that yet I couldn't believe I was running away.

The town burst with vibrant colours, people were dressed in strange clothes dancing throughout the street, the smell of fresh bread drafted into my nose and the sound of men yelling, people laughing.
Just the thought mad me throw up in my mouth, I pulled my hood over my head and quickly scurried through the crowd.
Suddenly, I bumped into someone and within a second I was flat on my ass.

"Hey watch where your going will ya!" I slowly raised my head to see a man standing in front of me, I couldn't believe his ignorance, of course being the daughter of an evil overlord I had to say something.

I stood up staring into his eyes, "excuse me but shouldn't look down on people who obviously are innocent" I was upset for a second there was silence then the man burst out in laughter, My face burned bright red, " W what are y you laughing at" I stuttered trying to find me words, I was embarrassed, humiliated " sorry it's just no ones ever stood up to me before" the man finally stopped laughing "I like you, your not like other girls" he walked to my side and tapped my shoulder " I'll see you around" he walked away without even turning to face me.

What a strange man.
