"I don't like his costume, his cape is the wrong shade of red."

"Seriously Clark?" you chuckle.
"Well I mean look at it."
"I'm looking and I don't see the significant issue."
"Well maybe not significant, but the fabric is wrong, the cape doesn't flow right and ... you seriously can't be impressed with that?"

You glare at Clark, "You might think It's ridiculous but I happen to like everything superman related."

Clark raises his eyebrow, "Have you even met the man, um or superhero?"

"No," you sigh, "I mean it's not that I haven't tried, hmph believe me I've been there when he flies in and flies out, I've reported on the bomb attacks from last year and his rescue of the senator, I was there but Lois always seemed to.." your voice dropped in tone, "to get there first."

Clark glanced at you with concern in his eyes, "Im so sorry -yn-".
"Oh no biggie really, everyone knows supes is in love with Lois haha, I mean the Daily Planet and Bride today have practically planned their wedding already."

"Ah I see."

"I always end up being infatuated with the ones I can't get, doesn't help me much now does it?

"Oh, no" Clark insisted, "You are kind, intelligent and a remarkable reporter, it's just superman tends to have that effect on people, you know with the cape and the flying..."

"The cape and the flying," you sigh, "I wonder what it's like to fly with him, Lois says she's gone before, wow she's got all the luck doesn't she."

"Um, -yn-" Clark begins as he waves a hand in front of your face, "Helloo? earth to -yn-!"

"Oh god Im so sorry Clark, my bad,
why don't we take some more photos and maybe get a group photo with the park's superman for the cover shot, I know the 6 o'clock news will want some more personal footage, y'know good selling image."

"-yn-, I'm sure superman thinks you're spectacular," Clark offers with a grin.

You laugh

"That's sweet Clark, you're always quite the gentleman, but I mean realistically? superman doesn't even know I exist."

Clark purses his lips, " That may be so, but life can surprise you."
"Yes, well let's get those photos before the actor leaves."
You grab your camera and head to the park.
