The Haunting

Chapter:2

Our bus finally pulled up to the school and people started pouring out of it with some students walking, while others run to the school. Megan, Alex, and I stayed on the bus until everyone was out. I grab my bag and held my phone in my hand. Megan, Alex and I finally got off the bus; saying bye to our bus driver as we did.

When everyone was in the school we slowly walked over to the school building. It was only 8:18 and school starts at 8:20 so we had two minutes to walk to class. We all had English together so we usually walk together, but as we were walking into class we saw a new kid. She was a girl, we watched as she clings to her bag as she walks.

"I've never seen her before." Said Alex. I nod agreeing with her. I watch as she stops walking and just stands in the middle of the hall.

"Neither have I" Megan acknowledged. I glance as my friends then I look over to The girl.

I stare at the new girl blankly, she looked so familiar, she had short platinum blond hair and had bright big ice blue eyes. She was wearing an olive green baggy shirt with black skinny jeans and black combat boots. She was so skinny, she looked so fragile and if she was going to break if anyone simply brushed against her. She looked oddly familiar though, I tried to think of where I've seen her before but i just couldn't remember. 

"I'll be right back, you guys can go ahead and go to class I'll meet you there." I tell my friends and they nod.

"Okay, see ya." Megan waves before walking down the hall past the girl.

"Bye." Alex smiles before following Megan.

I walked over to the girl and said, "Hi." I watch as she turns to me and looked at me with envy clear in her eyes. Why would she be staring at me like that?, I've never even seen her before I notice now that I get a good look at her.

"Hi.." She muttered dragging out her word, clearly not knowing what to say.

"Whats your name?" I ask her politely. She blinks a couple times before answering me.

"Abby." She said with a unsure look on her face as if it was a question rather than an answer. I smile at her.

"That's a nice name," I complement her. " My name in Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz." I tell her and she backs away a little bit.

"Uh yea, I guess, and okay." She mumbled. I furrow my brows.

"I have to go." She says and I nod.

"Okay, bye." I give a small wave and she just turns and walks away. That was weird. I shrug my shoulders and turn to walk in to class. 

I slowly made my way through my classroom looking for a seat. I spot Megan and Alex in the back of the room, I walk over to them and sit down beside Megan.

"Hey." I greet them as I pull my binder out and pick up a pen.

"Sup." Megan smiles.

"Hi!" Alex grins, she's always so cheerful. I shake my head at her while a smile lays on my lips. I start to write whats on the board.

"Morning class, today we are just taking notes so if you all could get a piece of paper and a pencil or pen that would be great." Ms. Smith says as she walks into the room and pulls some papers out of her bag and lays them on her desk.

"So what did you say to that girl?" Alex whispers to me as we copy some notes off the board as Ms. Smith writes them

We had English for two hours. As Ms.Smith was teaching I was staring at the clock waiting for English to be over.
